Underbite PDX — Restaurant in Portland

The weather has turned cooler and I was in the mood for soup and a sandwich. My husband and I decided to try out Underbite today and I'm glad we did! It's located in a tidy little food cart in a sort of alley or parking lot on the edge of Ladd's Addition. Looks as though they are hoping to expand this pod. We each got the soup & salad special. I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time as I heard nothing but good things and it's close to work. It's the perfect lunch menu, soups, sandwiches, combo and much more. Vegetarians and meat eaters all have options. I had a craving for their meatball sub after reading how it morphed from a traditional sausage & pepper sandwich. Was at Honeycuspe with friends and couldn't help eyeing the menu here, so I got one of their specials to-go... holy cow was it good. The Tofu Reuben (smoked tofu and sauerkraut on rye) was DELICIOUS.
