Paradice Premuim Italian Ice & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Portsmouth

We came in with high expectations due to the reviews, but we were wholy underwhelmed. We had 2 adults and 2 kids. They were out of waffle cones and half of the ice cream flavors were empty. To top it off, we ordered double scoops and the guy doing the scooping did not empty the scooper between scoops. So we ended up with essentially one scoop. I brought it up to him and he got defensive and said that was policy. The lady at the cash register knew it was wrong and asked if we wanted another scoop to which we obliged. I have never been to an ice cream shop where they dont empty the scoop between flavors. One you are screwing people and 2 you are cross contaminating the flavors. Unreal. The guy with the glasses doing the serving was pretty rude about it. The young lady at the register was nice and knew it wasn't right. Thanks to her for being honest. The yelp reviews weren’t wrong - this place brings happy vibes especially on a scorching hot day! From the outside, it’s cheery with orange patio umbrellas. When you enter you get to immediately see unique ice cream and Italian ice flavors. The staff was friendly and patient as I took my time tasting several flavors before the deliberation of what flavors to get. The ambiance is cozy and hip. I chose Italian ice flavors: mango, strawberry lemonade and peach. All were refreshing, smooth and true to flavor. Will definitely come back but in the meantime, recommend that you run to try...

This is my children and I's favorite place to get ice cream and italian ice. The customer service and patience that I have experienced is amazing! They even have a sign on the door that says if they don't greet you, it's free. They allow you to try flavors until you find what you like. The flavors and texture is always perfect and it's not expensive at all. My kids beg to come here and I love the many surprise flavors they offer. Great family vibes with games and music...
