The Wawa on Frederick Blvd in Portsmouth consistently delivers a solid performance, making it a reliable four-star stop. It's everything you'd expect from a Wawa, and that's usually a very good thing! First off, the convenience is top-notch. They keep the lines moving, and even with a crowd, you rarely feel like you're waiting excessively long. My only minor critique, keeping it from a perfect five stars, would be that the parking lot can sometimes feel a bit congested, especially with the flow of traffic on Frederick Blvd and the constant stream of customers. It can be a little tricky to navigate during peak hours. Overall, if you're in the Portsmouth area and need to fuel up, grab a quick meal, or just pick up some essentials, the Wawa on Frederick Blvd is an excellent and dependable choice. Whoever taught the employees to make matchas and chai teas clearly did not teach them how to make them correctly! They are not suppose to have expresso in them, or atleast not the amount they are putting in them. You cant even taste the matcha nor the chai at all, and teas are suppose to be teas not full blown coffees nor have any expresso. If i wanted the taste of coffee I would simply get a coffee, but i can't be drinking the amount of caffeine found on an expresso nor coffee as it is bad for me. So PLEASE STOP putting expresso on my oatmilk based matcha and chai teas!!!! And there is always 3-4 homeless and drug addicted people standing in every corner of the wawa asking for change or just getting in your face for no reason.

Also, on the good side, The workers there work hard to make food as fast as possible with the low quantity of employees they have. They are lovely employees with very great customer service. Management has to change tho, and teach them the right...

The cashier Satinee decided to allow a man to cut in front of a whole line of people because he forgot his ID. She did nothing to let others know that was the reason she let him back in line. For the record, I have always had to get back in line and wait. When a couple of us asked what happened, she said “I’m behind the counter. I’m the one that matters.” Well. That’s nice. There are other locations around that are more considerate of their customers. This wawa ALWAYS has some problem. Either trunk sales at the pumps - while not pumping gas.
