Wal-Mart Online Pick Up — Local services in Portsmouth

I got to the pick-up area and called 3 times. I didn't get through. I was on a tight schedule, so I got out of my car and jogged over to an employee, sharing that I wasn't able to get through. He was polite and shared that he would let the powers that be know that I had showed up, appearing to do so immediately digitally while I was with him. 40 minutes after I got there, my order came to my car. I asked about the delay, and they stated that some people hadn't showed up to work and that they were understaffed today. Seeing other reviews on other dates, I can see that a long delay like this one isn't an isolated incident. Some employees also walk much faster than others, and when understaffed, I wish that at least 1 employee was moving from place to place at a quicker pace if he is able. His pace was that of a leisurely stroll even when he wasn't carrying anything. The box had some damage, but it didn't appear like it would impact the product, and I don't know who along the chain would be the...

It's Walmart. I go through the Pharmacy Drive-Thru...yay easy peasy. Then there is the calamity that is inside. Soooooo many people. The greeters at the door checking your receipt...A-nnoying! After shopping there and maneuvering through the crowd, one more stop ...at the door, I feel so violated. Eyeballing your purchases...Creepy. The self-checkout was not up and running: it seemed like over half of them were down. Too bad, they do make shopping a little easier for me. And since I don't carry cash, it's always a card. So, It's perfect or it would be...c'mon Wally World. You can do it....

The Walmart on Frederick Blvd is pretty good. I order curbside pickup probably once every 2 weeks and typically never have any issues. Picked up my order on Friday and when I got there. My app said that my order was already picked up? I was totally confused so I asked one off the workers and he asked my name and immediately went inside and got my order and he apologized which made all the difference! 😉 Good Customer Service means everything to me! Great job...
