Terre Coffee & Bakery | Spokane Street, Post Falls — Restaurant in Post Falls

I have made a point of going to one of their shops every trip I make south to Post Falls ever since they opened the stand a few years ago. I am not much of a coffee snob, but I don't like bitter or burnt coffee! Nor very sweet drinks. And the coffee is perfect for me. I love visiting these guys as both the owners and the different hired help are so friendly and fun to visit with while I order my drink(s) I often make up unique flavor combinations or ask for them to "make me something tasty" to add some variety to their work day and am always impressed! The drinks are good, and if it's not quite what I wanted they strive to "fix" it for me! Impressive considering I may not have known what exactly I wanted. ALSO!!! Their fresh baked, FROM SCRATCH Cinnamon rolls and Bagels are unbelievable! I thought they just had a good bakery for the bagels and didn't know till a few weeks ago they make them there. Recommend it to all my friends from the Newport area to stop in when down there. I don't like to write bad reviews but when it happens more than once I feel the need to voice my opinion. On Fridays I like to go and grab coffee and a breakfast bagel or pumpkin bread. The last 2 Fridays I make sure I tell them it's an iced coffee, normally I have to repeat my order twice to verify. It sounds like a young gentleman on the speaker, and a woman at the window. I pull up to the window and they have to ask again on what I ordered, okay that's 3 times that's fine I can live with that, but then they still give me the wrong order. Last Friday I had them remake it to my iced coffee, this morning I did not have them remake it. I just took it because I had too many cars in line behind me and I had already been waiting since they had to verify the drink at the window. I let them know I wasn't happy and it wasn't what I had ordered. Thankfully I had a gift card the last couple times I had went there so I'm not wasting money on stuff I didn't order. I don't go here very often, unless I'm craving a bagel sandwich, but I had a birthday freebie I wanted to use. However, this whole experience was pretty terrible. From the moment we started ordering, there seemed to be some unseen issues on the other end and they just... Stopped talking to us. We finally made it to the window and the girl there seemed to want to just get rid of us as fast as possible. Zero customer service. I wanted to use the birthday freebie on a cinnamon roll, but they ignored me as I continually tried to get their attention as they charged my card and asked what I needed AFTER. They offered to give me another cinnamon roll, I'll give them that. But the point of free is free. They also did not warm up the cinnamon roll as they usually do, nor did they offer, and let's be honest, they're pretty dry when they aren't warmed up.
