My friend is single she was asked to move from her table she was enjoying. She just finishing a meal. She was not there long. The place was not busy however, six people were waiting. The young man from the back and the waitress ( who my friend just tipped) asked her to move to the counter. This table mind you only seat four people. Also there are other available tables in the large room. Such a insult to move the very counter were in the passed my friend had to wait for 30 minutes to be served . Furthermore that same day a single man came in and was waited on right away. Truly I will share this public. I do not want anymore single ladies to be treated the same way. So that Harding working single woman may be respected and also enjoy spending their in a more respectable establishment. Good luck with all your great ideal about yourself. May your Christmas hold the same treatment to your daughter or wife should they want to go off alone into a similar store or resturant. My friend is great and special and deserves to be treated as such. Hay I want to clear up something here. Maybe you should leave people to enjoy there seat. Maybe Michael you should realize that what you did this morning at breakfast was not kind. An appeal to your lack of customer service is quite appropriate for a rude person. Why interrupt someone who has enjoyed breakfast at your restaurant? Why ask them to move at all when your place was empty. If she wanted to stay there all day and drink coffee she should be allowed to do so. But no you decided she had been there long enough. I would not shadow your door and I have eaten and spoken with you several times. I find your response shameful. Its low to repeat what your action forced someone to turn on you with. It does not show a character of stellar hostess but mean spiritedness. I do not care what my friend called you. No business should do what you did on a dead non busy Saturday. It kills your business. No kindness is seen by me to clear this up. No response or maybe I am sorry what can I do to make it right would have been proper. However, I know you well. Your workers bring you cold coffee. I hope they keep doing so. Until you figure out it been you all along. Just say I am sorry. It would not hurt to do so. Then never mention the other part as it makes you look bad. My friend would not...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Corner Cafe in Post Falls, Idaho, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel welcome, offering a hot pot of coffee that set the perfect tone for my visit.
One standout feature of The Corner Cafe is their extensive gluten-free menu, which practically mirrors the regular menu. This flexibility made my dining experience stress-free, as I could easily swap out any dish for a gluten-free alternative. I opted for the fried chicken, and I was not disappointed.
The fried chicken was a culinary masterpiece—perfectly tender, with no hint of excess fat. The crispy breading added a delightful crunch, and the seasoning of the gravy was spot on. It's clear that the chef pays meticulous attention to detail, creating a dish that was incredibly satisfying.
My girlfriend chose the biscuits and gravy, a choice she often finds challenging to enjoy at other establishments. However, she was pleasantly surprised at The Corner Cafe. The biscuits were incredibly fluffy, with a perfect texture that didn't crumble immediately. In fact, she mentioned that the taste was so close to regular biscuits that she could barely tell the difference.
In conclusion, The Corner Cafe in Post Falls, Idaho, is a gem for those seeking diverse menu options without compromising on flavor. The attentive staff, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch cuisine which makes it a must-visit for anyone in the area. I look forward to returning to explore more of their...
Read more10/7/23: Owner totally missed the issue regarding this review! Servers were unattentive, missing items were reported as unavailable due to lack of product because no one ordered the product and the discontent in the kitchen was visible to ALL. Totally unacceptable behavior and unprofessional. Everyone in the cafe was talking about all of this. Maybe cleaning house and getting professional staff would be aplus! This is the second time we visited this Cafe. The first time we visited, service was so- so. We waited over 45 minutes to be served and the food was warm but not hot and the waitress kept saying they were short staffed. Today, they were out of chicken fried steak, ham and several other items. Again excuses were given, not only to us but everyone seated. They claimed their prep cook wasn't there and hadn't ordered in product. Coffee refills were few and far between. There was an obvious problem in the kitchen with items being thrown and words being exchanged between the cook and the servers. My burger was excellent but my husband's breakfast was only warm and the sausages were very hard to cut through. Coffee was however super hot. Due to our 2 experiences, we will not return. Hope they get their staff under control, no one wants to see this type of behavior. If these issues were fixed, it would be a nice...
