This little hidden gem is truly a hidden gem. Easily missed, the CUPS coffee shop is between restaurants and shops. It is truly a miss if you overlook this place. This place does not do anything exquisite in terms of coffee but what it does do is it brings a little joy to your soul with everything else.

CUPS does not just serve coffee, it serves ice cream and also some small sandwiches too! The staff is extremely helpful and patient willing to go out of their way to help you be fully happy with your beverage/food purchase. The CUPS coffee shop offers both indoor and outdoor seating. If you are indoors, it cute and quaint. If you are outdoors, then you get a fantastic view of the waterfront, marina, shops, and other downtown Poulsbo niceties.

My boyfriend and I came here yesterday on Easter and the barista seemed a little inconvenienced when we walked in. There just wasn’t much of a welcoming atmosphere going on. I proceeded to order two white chocolate americanos w/cream. One hot and one iced. The barista had asked me repeat what flavor I wanted in the coffees again, no big deal. The iced one came out first and it had regular mocha in it, as did my boyfriends. His drink tasted almost burnt. We only asked for the iced drink to be remade with white chocolate because it was obvious this person was training and we felt a bit bad. When they remade it a second time the white chocolate powder wasn’t mixed correctly with the shots so there was chunks floating around in my drink, and nearly all the ice was melted so it was kinda just room temperature. Visited both yesterday and today.

Yesterday we ordered a club sandwich with avocado, a breakfast bagel, and an iced mocha. They definitely forgot to put the mocha sauce in the mocha, it was just unsweetened coffee and milk. Whoops. They said it would be 5-10 minutes for our food and it took over 30 minutes because they helped the long line behind us before starting the food. Ok staffing issues but it was made up for because the club sandwich was absolutely outstanding. The sandwich was so incredible I thought about it all day and came back today excited.

Today was a different worker, she didn't put on the blackberry vinaigrette it's supposed to come with :( she didn't add the avocado I asked to add :( she didn't toast it :( and she cut it in half instead of quarters.
