I can only rate service and atmosphere as I couldn't order food. Was told after waiting in line (inside) behind 9 people that they were "OUT OF CHICKEN". The drive thru for online was still banging out orders without fail. Was told by an employee that "It will be 30 minutes for chicken" and to "come back then if I would like to order". I was trying to order food for 6 people in our family. So, I went and waited in my vehicle for the time specified. I entered the resteraunt and seen a Manager cutting fresh cooked chicken. Yay! I got in line. I was first and excited that I was going to receive the freshest chicken ever!! As I'm placing my order for 6, said Manager looks me in the eye and says "We have to cook more chicken and it will be 30 minutes". I explained that I had just waited 30 minutes and was here to place my order as suggested by the previous employee. I was then told that this "Chicken is for the online/drive thru ". And that "if I wanted to order I'd have to wait AGAIN". I left feeling less important than anything they had going on. I ended up calling Chipotle home office. I was told by the representative that they were "sorry and all she could do for me was to offer 6 free drinks". I told her that when I decided to make the call, that I was simply reporting my experience in hopes that management would do better in the future and declined the drinks. I left the conversation not just feeling, but KNOWING that my family is not important to this Chipotle/Company. I've been going to Chipotle since doors opened from the beginning because it's delicious. I have never had problems with any other locations. This particular location (W Broad St) has in the past TWICE made our food with COLD rice. I brought it home and had to microwave. That's fine I guess. Whatever. So I do try and avoid going to this location. But this last time I was maybe 3 minutes away from this location and stopped here anyway. That was my fault. But everything else that happened on that visit was theirs. SHAME ON YOU CHIPOTLE. How many bad reviews for this location do you have to have posted for you to do something? I recently had my wisdom teeth removed so I have been struggling to eat much of anything so for this Mother’s Day’s we skipped going out to eat which I was bummed about but being optimistic and decided to have my family take me to Chipotle since it had been a while and looking forward to it. We got there and 2 out of the 4 of us had our food prepared. Once it got to the 3rd person, my boyfriend he wanted 2 different meats but not double which is pretty normal at chipotle to do, the veggie person chimed in while the protein person was staring my boyfriend’s meal and asked if he wanted double meat, which he answered no and the guy continued to ask the same question and abruptly decided that my boyfriend had an attitude although he directed stated that he did not have one when the guy implied. The guy then decided to throw away my boyfriend’s food and ALSO our son’s food, my food and our other child never got an opportunity to order and demanded that we go somewhere else . When I asked why would he throw away a child’s food he said because “we are with him” and demanded again that we go somewhere else! I then asked for a manager and to my disbelief he aggressively told me “I am the manager now go somewhere else!” So at this point we did, we found the next nearest chipotle just for them to be out of the food that I wanted for the night which made me finally burst into tears that I had already been holding back from the last interaction. I was unable to get what I wanted and ultimately ended my Mother’s Day crying all the way home and then some while my family tired to console me. The manager whose name that I unfortunately was not able to get completely ruined the rest of my day. He caused a huge seen and had everyone staring at us, the other workers even looked afraid and uncomfortable of him and in addition to the meltdown that I ended up having at the other chipotle was embarrassing, worse chipotle experience ever!

When I came to this second employee to finish off my bowl I asked for their extra string cheese. She flicked them off her fingers and moved on and I wasn’t able to get anymore. I asked if I could get it in a cup since she just flicked the “extra” as pieces of her finger. She said they charge a $1.55 which isn’t the issue, I’m able to pay for that. I just didn’t know that was implemented since I never had to at this location before and I go often. I went back in line because I forgot chips. I decided to ask the first employee I encountered if they charge extra for the string cheese and she said no they don’t and then the women talked over her and said they do. I just asked when they started charging for that because usually I get it with no issues and I was curious, she looked at me, ignored me and then walked away.I am completely fine with paying but this women wouldn’t answer one question for me and what she was applying to me, she didn’t apply to anyone else. The other employees said they’ve never charged for it. I was upset with her attitude towards me from the start and when I tried to just clarify it, since I wanted to know when the change happened, I was ignored. It was just unprofessional and she just didn’t offer any help. The food is always good.
