I agree with Susan Hawthorne. Let me give my entire experience on 15 May 2018 (Booth 15). Service was HORRIBLE! Upon arriving and was asked, by the server, if we want to be seated on the other side (right side upon entering), she proceeded to seat us in the dark (approx 6:30pm) and we remained seated in the dark until I personally approached waitress to turn on the lights because I could not read menu. Then, me and my daughter had two complete different menus, so I asked about the discrepancy with the menu mix up and she proceeding to kitchen (speaking in Spanish) to what I am assuming to inquire about my question. This was a Tuesday, therefore, based on their restaurant website, I asked about the .99 cent Margaritas and the kids eat free with an adult purchase and she said the .99 Marquita deal doesn't apply anymore, however, the kids eating free with purchase an adult dinner did apply. However, another server approached the table, asking if someone had taken our drink orders and I replied "yes" and informed her about our menu mix up and asked re: the kids eat free with purchase of adult meal (which was on one of the menu's). She contradicted what the 1st server told us and took both our menus and gave us different menus, stating "the servers" must have not changed the menus. Again, food was extremely bland and not a place I will visit again and I'm sure the "owner" will have an excuse (meant reasonable explanation--NOT). I'm informing my Air Force leadership on Maxwell Air Force Base on my encounter with this...

Ordered the Chimichanga, the chicken was very dry and no flavor. I always order the same thing at every Mexican restaurant I go to. I NEVER EVER had to send back a chimichanga. When I did, the manager wanted to charge half price for the bite I had taken out of it. Then she told me no one complained about the chicken (the 5 people that were there, that probably didn’t even order the same thing) I felt very disrespected by the manager, and I feel she handled the situation wrong. If I was the manager. I would of done anything to make my customer satisfied, so they would come back , but she didn’t. Just disrespected me. I will not be back ! Thank you ☺️

Responding to your comment since it won’t let me. First off there was not even two big tables there, it was two small tables including us. And not everyone ate the same plate. You had two types of chicken because my boyfriend had the marinated chicken burrito which he had to give me half which was set on top of the salad mix which I did eat a little of. Sorry, that was the smallest chimichanga I have ever seen and took two bites out of because my boyfriend was trying to see if he could eat it so we wouldn’t waste the food but it was that bad of chicken. So highly recommend maybe marinating the shredded chicken as well. And how dare a manager/ owner accuse and judge the customer of trying to get free food. Let me say this again that was the first time I sent food back. The way you handle the situation was...

Tucked in a strip mall off the interstate, this Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem. It's location keeps it from any foot traffic so those who come here know about it. The atmosphere is a little worn but still nice and clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu offerings have the usual fare that you will find at any Mexican restaurant but there are a few surprises and unique dishes. Prices are a little higher than what you will find but the offerings are more upscale than most. (lots of steak options) My daughter tried the burrito supreme, a dish she gets at every place, so as to compare to the others. My wife got the enchilada Verde, a regular for her. Both said the food was good and they enjoyed it. The ubiquitous chips and salsa were a contrast. The chips were commercial rather than house made but we're thin and crispy. The salsa was House made but used canned tomatoes with added fresh ingredients. The salsa was chunky and not too spicy. I ordered the steak torta. It was much more flavorful than most I have had. It can with cheese which I have found missing from other places. All in all, very good. The fries however, were just plain frozen fries. We liked it and...

I will start with "I don't like Subway". So I found this spot hoping to find a hidden gem in Prattville while at work. It was slow and tucked away so it was promising. Chips and salsa were better than average. Order two enchiladas with rice and beans. Got the food, and the rice and beans weren't bad at all. The chicken enchilada was pretty dry and bland but the beef enchilada had some, not so browned ground beef. I asked for another chicken one but had already lost my appetite. I really was really hoping for something special. Just a little below average. I should have just eaten at Subway. Update: To address the rude and misinformed business owner. I took pictures the moment I got out of the car because I review restaurants. I wasn't rude, and I did ask for a chicken enchilada to replace the beef enchilada, and I tipped the waiter without so much as a gripe or complaint. I only have one account so I couldn't be posting multiple reviews. But I will lower the review from 2 stars to 1 for the expert follow up. The customer is certainly not always right but you should learn to accept criticism and take responsibility.

If you’re craving authentic Mexican food that feels like a warm hug from your Hispanic neighbor’s kitchen, El Amigo Mexican Restaurant in Greenville, Alabama, is the spot. Located conveniently right off I-65, this place serves up flavors that will transport you straight to a home where rice simmers on the stove all day. We ordered the double fajitas to share, and every bite was sizzling perfection. The rice and beans were pure magic—those beans? Definitely cooked from scratch with love. Even my son cleaned his plate, devouring a taco with rice and beans like it was his last meal! The only tiny hiccup was the queso being a bit runny, but honestly, the incredible flavors more than made up for it. This gem of a restaurant is the real deal, and I can’t get over how authentic everything tasted. If you’re ever passing through Greenville, don’t miss this spot!

The salsa and chips were great. The food was too salty. My Husband and Son both said so..If they would cut down on the salt ,it would be great. I tried the large Jalapeno Margarita, but if it had any alcohol in it,I sure couldn't taste it. It had a good lemony-lime flavor, but I didn't taste any tequila at all Sweet tea was good. Restaurant is located in a small strip mall. I would have liked to hear Mexican music played louder( Sounded like it was just being played in the kitchen)!
