On116/2020 @ 1135am my granddaughter and I tried to have an enjoyable lunch @ Carls jr yet again. Well drive thru had 2cars ahead of me but they were moving nicely. So I ordered a chicken club, zucchini, 4pc stars, sm fries, & drinks. The order taker was nice & tried to up sell. Ai the window I asked for ranch and had to wait maybe a min for the kids meal. My granddaughter and I went to a near by parking lot and ate our lunch. Her ckn stars were fairly fresh and her fries were warm. Why there was a wait?? My ckn club was cold and SWIMMING in mayo. YUCK . I was forced to take the sandwich apart and remove mayo from BOTH top & bottom bun!! Even after doing so it still only tasted of cold ckn & mayo. The zucchini was not fresh and not cooked even. HOW HARD IS IT TO SHAKE A FRY BASKET?? I was hoping for a tasty lunch 😒😒😒
Today 9/24/2020 I tried to have a hot lunch today. What a mistake I made. I didn't even get a hello from the inside cashier. I ordered and we waited 81/2 minutes for our food. We went back outside to eat our lunch being the dinning room is closed. The only thing that was fresh and hot were the 2 pieces of chicken tenders in the kids meal. My western was so cold the cheese didn't even get warm much less melt, the fries were old and the zucchini's were so old they were not eatable. The sodas were good and cold. The worst service and food I've gotten from this Carl's Jr. ever.!!!! AND THEY WERE NOT VERY...
Read moreI used to work for this company, close to a year ago, when this particular store opened up, the employees were 95% Hispanic and that is not my reason for disliking it, I was promised a pay raise from 7.25 to 7.50/ hr, and also more hours, as time passed one manager staff in particular decided to curse me out in Spanish, while I was working hard that day, then also being called a "tortuga" which means turtle in Spanish and forced to resign because of THAT managers actions.They don't always follow the standards of food handlers and if anything 80% of their workers don't have theirs, yes, I admit when I started I didn't have my card either, but was told I'll be reimbursed for the card, I told my boss and he doesn't pay me back, and if anything he cut my hours to the point of being on call, while other employees work close to 40+ hrs every week, and yet I rarely ever see them work, so hows that for job satisfaction, most of the time you have to wait for at least 40 mins when no-one is there to get anything accomplished in the lobby. Read moreThe girl, who had no name tag, who took our order on the headset first made us wait until the drive through had no other cars in it. Then, she did not care to speak to us, would not listen, making me repeat my order 3 times and failed to confirm my order. Speaking dismissively when she spokr. She was short, petite, with dark brown hair, an accent, and a poor service attitude, choosing to make asinine comments to other people who seemed to be other employees at the counter in the restaurant who would move behind the counter without a uniform and take whatever they wanted... Drink cups fir example.
We waited for over 15 minutes in the drive through for our order and I was able to watch everything transpire through the drive through window.
The food seems okay... so kudos to the chef.
