Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Prescott Valley

I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years and so i don’t leave negative reviews unless it’s really well earned. I went into this location today and the assistant manager, Candice, was the one taking my order. Being an assistant manager you are able to override anything in a POS system. I asked for a #9 and to substitute the roast beef for salami… like have for my past 50 orders at Jersey mikes. She told me that there is no customizing orders because they no longer have the button for that. That they have to account for the meat. So I asked if I can pay for the Salami separately and get it on the side. She told me I could if I ordered a kids sub. This woman had the absolute worst attitude. Did not want to be helpful or even offer to try and offer other suggestions so that I could get an order close to what I came in there for. Her staff seemed embarrassed by her behavior as well. Doubt this is the type of experience that Jersey Mikes wants to provide. Usually everyone is super friendly when I go there. Bummer. Hope you have a better experience than I did if...

Update to my previous rating.. what a pleasant surprise. I went in to order subs for my wife and I tonight. Sandwiches were prepared as requested. When I went to pay, the manager remembered my previous experience. It must be because I'm tall and ugly! 🤣🤣 He apologized multiple times for what happened a week or so go. He then proceeded to comp our meals! Incredible customer recovery and experience. They are and continue to be our goto for subs. This recent experience takes satisfaction to the next level. 5 stars all the way!

I will start off by saying Jersey Mike's is our goto sub shop. Quality is way above Subway. My wife and I ordered 2 sandwiches to go. When we got home, we realized we were given the wrong subs. I called and let them know about the screw up and requested new sandwiches be made. I got back in the car and returned to the store. They had the correct sandwiches ready. I hardly ever review franchises because one location may be stellar and the others might be horrible, but….. I felt compelled to share my extreme pleasure of this location with everyone. First of all, I’m SO happy that we finally have a location in Prescott Valley and not just Prescott. I’ve always enjoyed Jersey Mikes subs, so I was very excited that a new location was opened around the corner from my home. Every single time I’ve gone into this location, every single employee has been above and beyond with being pleasant, friendly, and you can tell they really enjoy being there. I always get the club sub Mikes Way with extra Mayo and it’s always perfect. Not to mention the bathrooms and dining room are always clean.
