River City Sweets — Restaurant in Prescott

I was walking by the River City Sweets and the smell was amazing. Cinnamon and vanilla were what I noticed. I wandered in to see what smelled so good. I'm glad I did.

When I walked in I was greeted by a woman who was very friendly. We talked a bit and she even gave me a free sample of some of the freeze-dried candy.

The place is beautiful, clean and bright, blue and white. They have a big assortment of different candies. Many that I remember as a child. A huge assortment of freeze-dried candy. But what caught my sweet tooth that day was the ice cream.

They have real ice cream and it is absolutely delicious. There are many flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. I got a double scoop, two different types, I was not disappointed.

I'm certain I will be stopping here again. I highly suggest if you get to downtown Prescott you stop as well. I certainly was not disappointed and I'm certain you will not be either. They have a sweet for everybody. Hard or soft, chewy or crunchy, sweet or sour, they have a little bit...

I can go on and on and on and ONNNNNNN about River City Sweets! FIRST..walking in..IT WAS FREAKING ADORABLE! The colors on the wall with the adorable sprinkles! Just absolutely cute! What caught my eye aside from the delicious variety of ice cream to choose from was the ADORABLE candy area! There was sooo many candies to choose from and the freeze dried area! There was a window to walk up to with a wonderful employee behind it giving out samples!! Talk about yum! SECOND.. the people..the atmosphere was amazing! We were greeted as soon as we walked in! It was such a warm and cozy welcoming! Friendly, sweet and super helpful! THIRD..the variety of ice cream! Just YUM!!! FOURTH.. There is an adorable outside seating area that we could sit down at and enjoy our treats at and the table had a bucket of chalk for the kiddos to do some sidewalk art work with! We will definitely be back!! I’m so happy to have such a wonderful business...

Randomly stopped by on a road trip and had a great experience! The staff member immediately greeted us and told us all about the candies and how they are made in house. She told us her favorite items in store and helped us pick out bags that had the most of our favorite flavors.

The store itself is very clean and neatly organized. I appreciate how there were some savory options of treats too. It was nice to see them stock local popcorn. The staff member also gave us some fun ideas on how we can top the popcorn, such as using the freeze dried candy corn as a topper which melts onto the popcorn. The dried fruits were so yummy! The freshest and tastiest array of freeze dried items I’ve ever had!
