This place is exceptional. There's a reason they have almost a perfect rating here. The selection of seafood is amazing, and everything is superb quality and always fresh. Moreover, the guys who work here really know their fish. You can ask them about any piece of fish in the place, they'll tell you what it's like, where it's from, and even the best way to cook it. Some days I just walk in and say "what's good today?" and they'll recommend 4 or 5 things that stand out. But honestly, you could walk in here and blindly point at something behind the counter and you know it's gonna be great. They also supply the fish for Blue Point Grill next door, same owners I believe, so if you've been there (it's amazing too) that's the level of quality fish you can expect here. Absolute top...

Great place. Have been going to the blue point grill for literally my entire life and needed some sushi grade salmon so I decided to try out nassau. It should be noted I went on a Sunday which I imagine may not be favorable for supply time and freshness.

The salmon had a very mild fishiness, you could tell it was fresh and it was very good. It also wasn't that perfect level salmon you'd get at an upscale sushi restaurant. Easily beats Wegmans selling their sushi grade salmon for 3x the price. It's some of the best in the area.

I shop here every single month. I spend hundreds of dollars on amazing fish, in particular Chilean Seabass and halibut and shrimp. I also love the produce! but tonight I bought 10 shrimp to serve alongside some Chilean Seabass and it was horrible. It has like chemical smell before I cooked it and after I cooked it and served it it smelled bizarrely like plastic. No one could eat it.
