This is a really good Firehouse location. The size of the place is about on par with some of the smaller ones I've seen so I wouldn't expect to be able to get a seat during lunch hour, but it's one of the cleanest and most organized Firehouse Subs places I've seen. Especially for the smaller ones.
Five stars everything makes it sound like it's some fancy high end restaurant, I know. It's a small sandwich shop of a massive chain, so set your expectations. That being said other than the physical size of the building which the employees have no control over, I really can't think of anything I didn't like about this location. The 5 stars of massive chain small store sandwiches.
Now I do have some bias for the brand having worked one of them for a bit around the time I was in college, but at the same time that does give me an appreciation for just how bad things can get at these places behind the scenes. My location was about this size and truthfully we did a terrible job and it put me off the brand for a couple years. The workers here certainly have a much better handle on the place than we did.
How's the food? That's what most of you probably care about. I would say it's better than Subway and Jimmy Johns. I think it's something about the bread pulling the heavy lifting, I don't know. I can't really say I've ever had a sandwich here I disliked. Filling, flavorful, and with a certain texture and heartiness that the alternatives just don't offer. There's a plastic-y feeling other sandwich shops tend to have with their food that you just don't get at Firehouse, and it's hard to explain. If you're not into sandwich shops and you haven't tried Firehouse, I say give it a go cause it might change your mind.
I think my favorite is the meatball sub but I also remember really not enjoying making them when I worked at a Firehouse and I cannot for the life of me remember why, so maybe go...
Read moreMy wife visited recently to purchase a gift card for me for Christmas (I love Firehouse Subs). The manager Marcus informed my wife that she could not pay for the gift card with her debit card (he could not explain why) and told her she needed to return with cash. She left frustrated and returned the next day.
Upon her return at their opening the next day, he recognizes her and refers to her as "honey" when asking if she returned with cash for her gift card. From the tone of his voice, she took it as a condescending gesture and she will not return to this location or any Firehouse Subs in the future. I love the concept but will never return to this location.
I spoke with the regional manager and she informed me that due to the high rate of stolen credit cards, the franchise owner decided to not accept cards as payment for gift cards. Marcus as the store manager was unable to explain this to my wife. Unfortunately one had the foresight to create a sign for the store to display this policy since it is difficult for the store manager to remember this type of information and convey it to their customer base.
I will never return to this location and I shop at Gates of Prosper on a weekly basis. We visit Chick Fil-A and Panera regularly and their employees never treat us in this fashion.
The franchise owner needs to consider new management at this location. No employee should ever talk to a customer in...

It is - without a doubt - the worst Firehouse anyone ever thought about placing.
1 - the people who work here are children - they stand around as if they are lost - it is as if there is no training whatsoever as to how to make a sandwich
2 - I am no longer going to this location. We love Firehouse, however, I am no longer willing to wait 20 PLUS minutes for someone to make a sandwich. I have LITERALLY never ordered a sandwich that did not take over 20 minutes to make. It doesn't matter if it's crowded or empty, the children who work here just do not care to provide service that is not at turtle speed
3 - tonight, my last time going to this craphole, I ordered 2 LARGE Everything Hook & Ladders - however, instead of telling me that the highly advertises EVERYTHING Hook and Ladder IS NOT a Hook and Ladder AT ALL, but an entirely different sandwich AND that it doesn't come in LARGE - HOW THE F&$K does a sandwich not come in large - 25 minutes later I got 2 medium sandwiches - that cost $20 FOR MEDIUM - that are not even close to a hook and ladder - and then told that the sandwich I ordered does not come in large
It's obvious that there is not training of anyone at this location. They have no one but children who work there. They have ZERO customer care.
DO NOT GO HERE. DON'T WASTE YOUR...
