Four of us went here for a late breakfast on a Monday morning. It was good timing, as there were few customers at the restaurant. We were seated quickly and greeted by our friendly server. For it to be less-crowded, the time from order to food on the table was quite long, especially since we didn’t order anything complicated. I ordered the traditional egg, bacon and waffle meal. For the $12 price tag, the eggs were a bit skimpy and only two slices of bacon. The waffle was the normal size and tasted excellent! While the food was good, it is a bit pricey for what you get. I didn’t leave hungry, but maybe a few more eggs and a couple more slices of bacon would justify the price. Updated November 2023 visit. First Watch - Prosper Our group of four came here for breakfast on a recent Wednesday morning. Surprisingly, the restaurant was almost empty. Thus, lucky of us, we were seated right away. The service was quick and friendly, fully explaining the menu and the seasonal specials. My pancake was exceptional, huge and tasty. The eggs and bacon were good, too, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, a nice breakfast at an OK price.

Had the Honey Bacon Brussels Hash from the Fall 2024 menu--it didn't disappoint. 🤌🏾

Really disappointed with the visit. I've been to other locations and had great experiences. This location, not so much. Our server didn't really take care of us even though he only had one or 2 other tables, wasn't really busy enough that he could have checked on us more. We had to flag down 2 other servers for things we needed. My wife and I ordered the Tri-fecta, I asked for 3 eggs soft scrambled, bacon, and a pancake with fruit compost. Eggs were over cooked, fruit was regular fruit not what I asked for, and the bacon was over cooked and hard as a rock. My wife's eggs were over cooked as well and same for the bacon. The only thing on hers was the waffle was right. The syrup bottle they brought out had hair or fuzz on the spout, not clean at all. We didn't make a big deal on the food because we ate it. When I paid I did let the check out person know, as well as stated I am paying the whole bill because we did eat the food. Me sharing was not to get anything free or a discount, it was to help improve for next time. Hope it does, but not sure I or my family will go back to that location.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a local restaurant and I cannot express enough how amazing Dennisse, our server, was throughout the entire experience. From the moment we were greeted until the final moments of our meal, Dennisse went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary.

First and foremost, Dennisse greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, instantly making us feel welcomed and comfortable. Their professionalism and attentiveness were remarkable. Despite the restaurant being busy, Dennisse managed to make us feel like we were their top priority. They took the time to explain the menu, offering insightful recommendations and answering any questions we had with enthusiasm.

Throughout the meal, Dennisse's attention to detail was exceptional. They anticipated our needs and were always one step ahead, ensuring our glasses were never empty and promptly delivering each course with precision. Dennisse's knowledge of the menu was impressive, making excellent suggestions based on our preferences. Their expertise truly elevated our dining experience.

What truly set Dennisse apart was their genuine care for our satisfaction. They constantly checked in with us, ensuring that every aspect of our meal met our expectations. Dennisse was attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. Their warm and personable demeanor made us feel like we were dining with an old friend, adding a personal touch to the entire experience.

Even when faced with a minor issue, Dennisse handled it with grace and efficiency. They promptly resolved the matter, leaving us impressed with their ability to turn a potential negative into a positive. It was clear that Dennisse was not only dedicated to providing exceptional service but also genuinely cared about creating memorable moments for their guests.

Overall, our dining experience was elevated by Dennisse's impeccable service. They are a true asset to the restaurant and a shining example of what exceptional hospitality looks like. If you have the opportunity to dine at this establishment, I highly recommend requesting Dennisse as your server. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and warm personality will undoubtedly make your dining experience truly remarkable.

Thank you, Dennisse, for going above and beyond. You are truly a star in the hospitality industry, and I cannot wait to return to the restaurant for another...

I am slowly becoming a frequent visitor of First Watch! My first visit was to the Frisco location off Preston, then the McKinney location off 380, and I must say that the Gates of Prosper location off Preston Road is my favorite!

The restaurant is always clean, the design is inviting, and the staff is so warm!

The food is delicious and overall, the Prosper Team makes it a wonderful time, all the time.

My go-to us the A.M Superfoods bowl along with the Steel-cut oatmeal. It never disappoints!

My visit was at 12 (lunch!) on a Monday and it was obviously slammed. We must remember how difficult the pandemic is on servers, hosts, cooks, and bussers especially as Texans get out more and more. Just a year ago so many employees were laid off and the workforce has still not recovered as MANY restaurants and stores (many within the Gates of Prosper center) are understaffed.

I watched upset guests leave because they were not okay with waiting for their meals, but most importantly I watched many guests RESPECTFULLY accept the longer than usual wait because it was clear that the line out of the door and understaffed restaurant would mean we would ALL be waiting!

Before this gets too long, I just want to commend the staff of First Watch - Prosper (both Back of House and Front of House) for their hard work especially during times where even the slowest shifts can sporadically be 10x busier than the week before.

Special thanks to Kennedy, Maleah, Haley, Lauren, Paul, and the rest of the team for working so hard despite the...

We waited over almost 2 hours for our food in that time never saw a manager not even once. Then someone (not our server) finally dropped off our food right around the 2 hr mark our drinks were empty and ice melted by then, never saw the server again until we had finished our food drinkless and she tried to just swing by and dropped the check with out asking if we needed anything. I open the check and no discount, no apology for making us wait two hours, no explanation.. nothing. We literally watched 2 big tops sit down outside and sit for 30 minutes ungreeted I eventually told the group we had been sitting for 2 hours ourselves and they finally got up and left. Two servers and a host all saw them get up to leave and no one tried to stop them or apologize.

I’m thinking these guys need new management and need it FAST! I could have that place running right in all of a day. As I’ve managed night clubs in uptown for the past ten years. Your team is only as strong as the person in charge. A good manager touches every table at least once as well as lightens the load for the rest of the team this means coming out of their fancy little office and busing some tables, grabbing drink refills MAKING SURE TABLES ARE GREETED, You know so your staff can make MONEY! Same thing goes for back of the house. On a Sunday you should have a back of house manager making sure everything is running smoothly and food is coming out hot and correct. This place has so much potential they just need the right management staff. Hope it...
