UPDATE So, I moved out of this neighborhood, and just moved back. I brought my dog with me, which the workers seemed to think was fine. Gave him a pup cup, and we sat for a minute while I dipped my coffee. Customers came and went, most of them coming to pet my dog. The workers loved him also. Then this miserable old lady came out and started complaining about him being there asked where his service vest was (didn't know he needed to have one on). I told her I remembered her, cuz she used to complain about my then 3 year old son also. She says "No, I used to yell because you threatened me with a baseball bat" which is completely contrived. In front of a store full of people and workers. I will be complaining to corporate, and if she can't produce some kind of video (it never happened so she can't) or witness, she should be fired or written up. This is not how you treat customers.
These people have zero morals. My family and I went there every day for several years. However, they have a few handicapped parking spots out front, that they don't think are for handicapped people. I've been there several times when people are using the spots and are not handicapped. I've mentioned it to the management who told me it's not up to them, it's up to some nameless parking management company and to deal with them. Obviously just passing the buck. I even spoke with the GM who made a lot of excuses. So instead I'VE had to ask people to move their cars, explaining to people that it's a handicapped spot and not for them.
A few days ago, some out of state jerk with a Cadillac decided to park there, and I asked him the same. As a result, the manager has decided to ban my entire family (my wife was not there, just myself and my 2 year old son) from the establishment. Apparently standing up on behalf of handicapped people is too much to ask, but standing up against anyone who stands up for handicapped people isn't. Where they draw the line IS NOT in people pushing handicapped people aside, it's in asking people to not push handicapped people aside. It's truly shocking, and they're really letting down the entire community.
People with disabilities often count on the rest of us to stand up on their behalf when the ignorant people in this world try to run them over. What makes it harder, is when people try to punish those that do stand up for them. People with disabilities are people too. And they deserve to be...
Read moreSo I went inside the restaurant to order. The girl that took my order got it correct and told the girl who was going to make it what it was. When she saw that the girl didn't add the strawberry, she reiterated it to the girl making it and she completely disregarded it and put my coolatta on the pick up counter and walked away. I instantly noticed it was incorrect but had to leave and she had turned her back and went to the drive thru. Instead of correcting the drink, she knowingly left it the way it was and then tried to reprimand the girl that took my order because I asked for whipped cream after she had rung me out which I specifically offered to pay for after the fact. Don't get me wrong, I drank it because it was almost $5 but I work as a barista and I would never hand out the wrong drink KNOWING I made it wrong. It's extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Makes sense why their tip cup was empty and I even tipped what I had on me before I...
Read moreI ordered coffee, 2 toasted everything bagels with cream cheese, 2 wake up wraps, and a croissant. We got 2 undercooked plain bagels that were cold and squishy to the point where we had to toast them when they got here. The croissant it tasted like a chewy piece of metal wrapped in plastic, it was difficult to break apart, and it was cold (croissants are supposed to be warm and flaky, even after they've been warmed up). Then there was the coffee, which tasted like it was scorched by the devil himself. After all of this, I called and figured I would let them know, only to be told that they did not receive this order, and then they hung up on me. I will never understand why Dunkin' is preferred over Starbucks because yes, it's cheaper, but you also get a lot better quality for your money, and much better service. Thank you for reminding me how much I hate...
