I've been a longtime customer, since the grand opening of the first location several years ago, all the way up to a few weeks ago when I was in Providence last, and have never had a bad experience.

But I've never reviewed the shop on Google, even though it's been a mostly upper-90's score (a couple times I got a flavor that was imperceptible in the cookie. The Strawberry Lemonade tasted like barely any strawberry, but was still a great cookie. Low-90's score in only those couple such cases). This is across my purchase of hundreds of these during the shop's several years. However I've been seeing from the IG account that there has been a rash of frivolous negative reviews with fallacious content and even at least one or two with none (why is that even allowed lol; you should be required to have a citable grievance to leave a one-star review), and I just needed to be a voice of reason here. Even though the shop made no request for reviews, now or ever

People are erroneously reporting overpricing, and one person bizarrely even specified "for what it is," which is exactly what should help you realize the fairness of the pricing. The THICC Cookies are a whopping six ounces of premium ingredients. An average cookie at a café or bakery is three to five dollars (in case you think I'm lying, Melting Sun, the restaurant and bakery stand in South Station, sells its cookies for 4.99), and is far lesser in quantity, never mind quality. Finally, look to any similar cookie, like the Levain cookies. I've just listed three ways to evaluate pricing (ingredients, price contrasting, and peer product comparison). You know that a reviewer is a fool when they talk about cookies at a grocery store (which is just a completely different ball game business-wise, cookie dissimilarity aside) The thing about ignorant people is that their name comes with...

I bought 6 cookies consisting of chocolate chip, cookies and cream, funfetti, and chocolate peanut butter. The cookies were very heavy in the box and I was excited to try them. The store atmosphere was great and the facility seemed clean. Upon trying the cookies with my wife and kids we were extremely disappointed. The chocolate chip cookies looked great to me at first. However after breaking one in half it seemed crisp on the outside and gooey inside. As I brought it to my face things changed. The smell of uncooked flour was overwhelming. My wife also knoticed the same smell and was very reluctant to eat one. At this point I took a cautious bite and the cookie appeared to be undercooked. I thought it could be a fluke and I gave it another shot with a second chocolate chip cookie I bought. Same result and disappointment. This continued with the cookies and cream as well though not as undercooked the smell of uncooked flour was present and the after taste confirmed it. The chocolate peanut butter was cooked through and was enjoyable tho not my favorite in any case but at least i could give it to my kids without worry. The funfetti was a different story. It was over cooked and a crumbley mess. I really wanted to like these cookies but for the price point I didn't expect under cooked raw flour cookies. Not sure if I'll go back. Not sure if they are always cooked like this but I hope they dial in their cook times because the possibility of having a great...

We were on Thayer Street and found this lovely cookie shop located on Angell Street in the College Hill area. They also have a spot in Wayland Square and will be opening up a shop in Garden City, Cranston soon. The decor was very cute and pink, reminded me of another cookie shop with pink theme that starts with C. The service was great; the attendant was friendly and cheery, albiet she was the only one we saw on duty and there was a small line.

They always have their standard flavors which are chocolate chip, peanut butter chocolate chip, funfetti, and cookies and cream; monthly, they introduce new special flavors. I love that they call their cookies thicc because they are thick lol. They also have mini cookies called baby cheeks; the perfect bite size and a nice way to try all the flavors without committing to a thicc one. We decided to order a variety of the baby cheeks so we can try all the different flavors. OMG, those cookies were so moist and flavorful. I enjoyed all the flavors. Definitely will be back for some more thicc cookies and...

I’m honestly puzzled by all the reviews that say it’s the best cookie that they ever had. My girlfriend has been wanting to try out this place and we finally got a chocolate chip cookie to share today. But it was a disappointment. If you like cookies that feel like biting into sugar, this place might be your jam. But I couldn’t even finish a quarter of the cookie without feeling like my teeth were gonna fall out from sugar rot. They’re crunchy, but it’s because you’re biting into sugar grains, not because they’re crusty and chunky. I get that cookies must have sugar, but this much should really be illegal for public health. Also, it would be nice if there was at least an option to have the cookies warmed beforehand. At least we wouldn’t have to bite into a cold chunk of sugar. Also, I don’t get why these are $5.49 a cookie when a whole pound of sugar is $1.10 at Costco. I mean it was a lot of sugar but not 5 pounds. But the guy at counter was nice!

We were here a couple of days ago after seeing the new cute coffee shop on Angell St. The coffee I got was mocha, and it was so good. The cookies are terrific as well. I loved the small cookies combo, you can pick 4 types of cookies and enjoy the cookies with the coffee. Overall, I love this place! The owner chatted with us a bit and he was very friendly. He told us he did all the decorations himself, which is really impressive! I only wish they had more sittings inside for people like me who loves going to coffee shop with our laptop to read or work while enjoying a cup of coffee.
