To Owner / Manager,
First I would like to delineate, we love tribos peri peri. Specifically for authentic grill taste. I along with my family and friends enjoy your place. We have been enjoying the restaurant since last 3 years when we moved to RI. What I noticed recently the worst customer front person for the first time at your restaurant in providence. Throughout last 3 years I saw multiple changes in front desk who welcome customer and take orders, everyone were polite, helpful and respectful. But the day last Saturday was different. I went there with my friends and family. We were trying to order the chef’s platter and were discussing for the two sides. The waiter was looking extremely rude as we are wasting too much time. Most importantly, we were the only customer that time for dine in. However, we had to change one side and we asked her to change it. She was rude and saying harshly “I cannot do the change, I have to do the order again from beginning”.
What’s wrong with!!!! You get the hourly payment for taking order and serving customers. You don’t cook !!!! What’s wrong with you!!!!
Even when we asked the slip, she was saying i can’t do that, my boss will email you….. what!!!!!!!! Are you crazy!!!!?? I said it’s already printed there. Check please..
I wonder whether she received a proper training!!!
No wonder the food taste was good as usual. But I would highly recommend to shape the training for the best customer service as you always...
Read moreThere are plenty of overrated, severely overpriced restaurant downtown. Tribos Peri Peri would be the worst of all of them. The food was terrible. For $45 you are given a “whole chicken” (4 quarters, which will come in a mix of either all dark, or all white, or mixed, not at all depending on what you order- cross your fingers that you get what you want!) and two single-person sized sides. My family chose fries, which were fine- soggy, but not disgusting, and rice- which was absolutely disgusting and tasted as if it were boiled in citrus-scented wood cleaner. For an additional $6 each, I ordered “steamed veggies”- which was a 8oz container, half filled with frozen mixed veggies. Yes, like the bag of frozen mixed veggies you get at the dollar store. Microwaved, and not even a grain of salt addded. Also for $6, I ordered garlic bread. This is an order of three slices of once again, frozen dollar store quality garlic bread. I expressed my disappointment to the restaurant, and was ignored. After pressing them, I was told to let them know when I was coming back and they would re-make my order. As I am not interested in taking home and throwing out a bag of frozen food for the second time, I requested some money back instead. At this point I was ignored again. All in all, save your money- you will get better food at a drive through for a quarter of...
Read moreThough I would never call myself a connesour, I am at the very least, an avid consumer of bone-in wings. Before eating at Tribos, I thought I had tried every type of wing imaginable. Little did I know, the greatest chicken I would ever eat could be found in a small restaurant in the city I now call home. Tribos has perfected the wing. Through some flame grilled sorcery, they have created a wing that is crispy on the outside and tender within. Their sauces can be quite hot, but it is not just heat for heats sake: the spiciness of these wings elevates the flavors of citrus and chili to new levels.
When I am having a bad day, when I have a cold, when I miss home, or when I just don't feel myself, I always turn to Tribos. I order a dozen, extra hot, wings and by the time I reach the bottom of my plate, all of my sorrows are gone. My sinuses are clear. I feel at home in my new city, my confidence renewed. On the walk home, with a full belly, I call my parents just to say I love you.
You're probably thinking there's no way a chicken wing could do all that. Well, if you think it's outrageous, you surely haven't been to Tribos yet. So I urge you to go as soon as possible and to order the hottest chicken you can handle. Tell Jacqui that Clancy sent you. They'll take good...
