The historic park was founded in 1869 on a small plot of land in the middle of a neighborhood. The most notable feature is the statue of Roger Williams. Roger Williams' remains were also placed in a tomb below the statue.
After hanging out at Thayer Street, this was my go to spot to take in the views of downtown. I think it's a very romantic spot and a good location to take a date.
