This store is great in that it always makes me ponder about the ethicality of making money off of pseudoscience.

Should we respect the tenets of capitalism and recognize that any demand can and should be met with sufficient supply?

Or should we shun the sale of things that can be scientifically proven to be quackery, and not confer any non-placebo benefit?

Maybe a humanistic worldview would dictate that if any practice makes someone feel better in some way, then this is a net positive, and whether it's through deceptive placebo effect or real cause and effect shouldn't matter.

On the flip side, going for a pseudo solution for a real problem might not prove to be sustainably sufficient, and might keep someone from seeking out a solution to their problem that would actually confer verifiable and repeatable benefit.

But then again, what if the individual doesn't have the means to find that real solution, or maybe this solution doesn't even exist, and spiritual quackery is their only refuge of some sort of solution to...
