How Not to Do Customer Service:
Okay, I will admit that I made the first mistake. I ordered a medium pizza with anchovies on my phone (via Door Dash) for delivery but the order went through before I was able to place a note that the anchovies were only to be on one-half of the pizza. As soon as the order went through, I realized my mistake, so I immediately called Pizzapier.
I was placed on hold by a member of the staff - waited 5 minutes before I realized no one was going to pick up my call. I called again, had to wait for about 3 minutes before another staff member picked up. I told him my issue, and that I needed to change my order to half Cheese / half Anchovy. He said "No Problem!". Great!
I get a ping from Door Dash in ten minutes that they are on their way. Great!
Door Dash gets there, and when I bring the pizza up to the kitchen, I open the box, and, of course, the Pizza is all anchovies.
I immediately call Pizzapier, and after another 3-5 minute wait (they're busy , I get it), the guy who told me it was "No Problem" answered the phone. I told him that the order was prepared wrong, and I needed a replacement. He told me that after my phone call, he told the kitchen but they said it was too late as the pie had already gone in the oven, and there was nothing to be done. (Did they call me back to tell me that? No.) I told him that was unacceptable (I am a multiple repeat customer), and he answered that by hanging up the phone on me.
That, of course, was more than annoying - so I called back, this time I got another Staff Member. I explained the problem to him and he said it wasn't their problem, it was Door Dashes. I said "Your guy told me it would be taken care of and that there was 'no problem', so at that point, imho, its Pizzapier's problem". He answered that by hanging up the phone on me too.
Seriously Pizzapier, thats how you do customer service?
On a side note, the Pizza with Anchovies was good (but my 8-year-old daughter wouldn't eat her half [which was the only reason I ordered today]), but the french fries we ordered on the side were soggy.
Pizzapier, please give us a reason to give you...
Read moreLove ordering from here but after my recent experience I will never order again. The delivery man was given a cash tip and never gave me my receipt or anything to sign….I just figured it was because I paid online or whatever. Then when I checked my bank account a few days later I realized I was charged an additional $10. The delivery guy took it upon himself to add MORE gratuity and forge my signature. I called and spoke with a man who tried to make me feel like it wasn’t a big deal….hours later the manager called to confirm and sent me this picture of the receipt. Definitely nowhere near my signature or how you spell my last name. She said they’d refund the $10 but seemed very insincere and like I was a bother. Fraud obviously isn’t a big deal to them and who knows how many other people this has happened to. If you order from here don’t use your card and...
Read moreLooking for a new place on our pizza crawl, [a different place every other visit], we were lucky enough to find this place. Right away we liked the young man behind the counter who was very patient as we checked out the menu thoroughly and thoroughly pleased with all the amazing selections. We decide to get the Jamaican chicken pizza and we chose a good one. The pie was nice and thick with plenty of toppings on every slice. The Jamaican spice for me was just right, spicy enough so you know what you ordered without burning a hole in your tongue. The pie was even brought over to us with plates and napkins. None of that number/name calling stuff. We were treated very well. It was nice to sit down in a clean, calm atmosphere where we could just enjoy the the beautiful day. This place deserves many return visits to try a lot more of these...
