So I took my girlfriend, to visit a new bar that we haven’t tried; Which was this one. We got our drinks. I liked mine, but she (my gf) didn’t like hers, and politely asked the bartender that she didn’t like the drink. The Bartender, replied, “you saw the ingredients.” In a rude tone. No empathy, no suggestions of other drinks, no taking the drink back and apologizing, etc. nope. Just her having a bad attitude towards my gf. Luckily, my gf and I asked for a new receipt, and she (the bartender) was able to take my gf’s drink off the receipt. It’s just that we, were shocked, upset, and disappointed at her response. My gf ask to speak to the manager. She said she was. I understand that being bartender, can be demanding at times, and be stressful, but her behaving the way that she did, that was just unacceptable. Overall, I was very upset with the bartender’s attitude. It’s a shame too, because this tavern, is in a really nice area, and has won BEST NEIGHBORHOOD BAR for RI Monthly for 2023, but that bartender lady, with her bad attitude, just ruined our experience. I understand that the bartender could’ve been upset also, but you respond the way that did. She could’ve approached the situation in a much...

My friend and i are bartenders and that’s not the right way to treat a person don’t matter if you have a bad day everyone else has it to people go out to spend money to be treated good not like they are asking for free stuff if she doesn’t love her job she better find something that makes her happy. Thats why we don’t tip her I don’t go out to spend my money to be...
Read moreAbsolutely loved this place! Danielle was an absolute gem—super friendly, upbeat, and brought this effortlessly cool Midwestern vibe that made the whole experience even better. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it shows.
Now let’s talk drinks: the espresso martini was phenomenal—perfectly balanced and smooth, easily one of the best I’ve had. Their beer selection? Impressive. Whether you’re into craft brews or just want a cold classic, they’ve got you covered.
The music was on point - nothing too loud, just the right vibe to keep things lively. And can we talk about the patio? It’s spacious, laid-back, and absolutely perfect. As a smoker, I really appreciated having a great outdoor space to hang without feeling shoved to the side.
Overall, this spot nails it with atmosphere, service,...
