I don’t usually leave reviews. In fact I don’t remember the last time I left an online review. This place is exceptional.
We were immediately impressed by the atmosphere. The space is small and filled with light, plants and art. The distinctly non-puritanical vibe was a welcome reprieve for this Boston native.
The menu is complete but not overwhelming. We had some difficulty choosing what to order as every item seems very well thought out and original. We ended up ordering their two breast sandwiches, and they were absolutely delicious. The prickly-pear aioli is a unique and tasteful addition to the sandwich and goes well with the Gouda cheese.
The coffee was also exceptional. I ordered a miso-maple latte, mostly out of curiosity. To be honest I couldn’t imagine this being very good but had to try it. I was blown away. The result was fantastic. Instead of a gimmicky addition the flavoring was subtle and tasteful, and like nothing I’ve ever had. The lavender cappuccino was the most tasteful use of lavender flavoring in coffee I’ve ever tasted. Not super sweet, just perfect. The plain coffee is also very well done.

Read moreAs a new addition to the east side family of cafes, I can easily say this one has become my favorite, the baked good and food are always delicious their coffee cake slice has a choke hold on my life like you wouldn't believe. Their espresso/cafe drinks are expertly crafted and made with real attention to detail I hate yet to get something I didn't like on my stops in. Their alcoholic beverages are also out of this world, one of my favorite things about this place is the culture is setting into the place the art on the wall by local artist is always thought-provoking and attractive. Last but not least the staff is very sweet and welcoming I've been going for a year now and I never feel anxious about making a mistake while ordering or embarrassed if i make a mistake or ask for something that isn't on the menu anymore. Can't recommend this place enough.
My only tiff is that their closed exclusively on my days off so I gotta go somewhere else for my caffeine...
Read moreHey bestie- You have tried EVERY PLACE in Providence but this one….but we can fix this.
The reason this is worth the visit if you are anywhere within driving distance to Providence is really hard to explain but I will try.
Full disclosure I am personally connected with this place and love it.
This is a third space design that works for so many reasons: LGBTQIA+ owned and focused space Cooperative worker owned Bipoc leadership Community focused Incredible unique flavors and menu Incredible vibes Small in a welcome home kind of way Great free programming including book club and knitting circle
If you go here and support it however you can. Buy art, food, drinks, and chill for the day. They are not open tues/wed so beware. So much more to say but it would be better to learn for yourself.
Great if you like gluten free treats or fancy syrups made from real fruit like the Peach Cobbler Matcha or other seasonal treats....
