My husband and I came here on one of our coveted date nights. The atmosphere lent itself well to conversation and we were welcomed heartily at the door. Then came the rush. We were asked to order before I even had a chance to open my menu. We ordered Crab Rangoon, Pot Stickers and Thai Egg Rolls. The pot stickers were dry, the crab Rangoon was average and the egg rolls were good but not great. I tried the 5-star chicken for my entree. It was a bit bland for my taste, but the veggies were fresh and plentiful. The garlic sauce was not too oily and yummy. My husband tried their namesake dish, the Yum Thai Noodles. He enjoyed it, saying the BBQ pork was delicious but the imitation crab seemed a bit odd in the dish. Normally I would give this average, some good, some not so good, restaurant more stars. Except. The service was abysmal. After pressing us to order quickly, the waiter disappeared. My water glass stood empty until dessert. Speaking of dessert, the waiter offered it to my husband (who had finished eating) while I was still eating my entree. The waiter came back two times in just as many minutes, and when we still weren't ready to order dessert...he disappeared. My husband had to call him over to ask for dessert and water. He shouldn't have because the banana dumplings were just awful. Ironically this same restaurant had introduced me to banana dumplings 20 years ago. At that time they were delicious! This time, they were a sad mass of non-quite-sweet-enough paste. I could not, even with effort, cut off a bite. The dumpling was too sticky. So, overall I would say Yum Thai has become average in food, terrible in service and a very poor source of...
Read moreI’ve been going since kindergarten, and I’m a junior in highschool now. The owner Vicky and her husband John are the sweetest people ever. The food is the best, I love it so much. And if you want to know what I recommend, I recommend the Sesame Crispy Chicken which I’ve gotten almost every time I go it’s so good, the Egg Rolls which are warm and crispy, Crab Rangoon which is crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside, Pad Thai which smells so good and has this soft flavor and along with the bean sprouts makes it slightly juicy, and the cucumber salad. It’s tangy, and sweet. I love it. It’s so good. Like all of the food I’ve tried from them is good. I love this place so much and I love Vicky and John and all the workers there. And this is the only review I’ve ever made on a restaurant that is how much I love this place. Pleaseeeeee go here. And please get the sesame crispy chicken and the cucumber salad and egg rolls and crab rangoon it’s my comfort meal and favorite meal. And I’m eating the Pad Thai right now and the egg rolls because I got braces and I’m not sure if I’m able to eat the...

Great service! There was a line, but it went quickly and we were seated. There are tables that can seat six, tables for two, and a couple of counter stools.
Great selection of dishes laid out on an accessible menu. Even though the restaurant was full, and with online orders coming in, we got our drinks and appetizers, meal in well timed intervals without feeling rushed.
The food was hit, well seasoned and fresh ingredients. The chicken wings were not processed, but prepared on site. The grilled shrimp were shell-on and well seasoned.
We definitely give them 5 stars and can't wait to go back. Reasonably priced as my son tends to restaurant order for the meal he's eating, after dinner snack and lunch the next day. Bill was $65 for 4 appetizers, 2 entrees and two drinks. It is BYOB for alcohol. They'll give you glasses for...
