I was visiting Provo, UT and drove past JCW's The Burger Boys. I was intrigued because it looked a promissory burger place to try. I went there tonight and spent at least 10 minutes just driving around JCW's trying to find a parking place. No Luck. I then tried the drive through. They did have an attendant that came to the end of the very long line to take my order. I hoped this was speed up the process. I explained that I had never been there and had no idea of what was on the menu. Unfortunately she did not really help in putting an order together. I finally said do you have combos? She said yes but did not explain how they worked. After 20 minutes in line I got my order of a Hickory BBQ Burger, Onion Rings and Small Strawberry Cheesecake Shake. The Total -- $19.79. These are Washington D.C. or New York City Prices. I took one bite of the barely warm onion rings and threw the away. The onion rings were worse than the ones you get at Burger King. For almost $7 I expected more. The shake came in a drinking cup inside a drinking cup. I don't know if that was to eliminate spills or just make it look bigger. It was almost spoon sticking thick and had a good flavor. I would recommend that you perhaps only order the burger which was excellent. Service and food quality is so important that despite two possible winners this was a strike out. There are too many other fish in the pond to keep...

PROS: Potentially good food if staff is consistently cooking as they should. Fries are still a family favorite hands down. Some sandwiches are a must if they make and cook them properly. Shakes are yummy as well. staff have always been good, kind, polite, friendly, clean try the halibut, it's a family favorite avoid the drive through if there are more than a few cars
CONS: Garbages not emptied enough where you can smell them from a few booths away (heaven forbid you sit close to them :D )
consistency in food cooking seems to be hit and miss (have had more than a few burgers too raw, chicken too pink (i show them and ask them to replace)) - seems to be staff's focus issues when busy? maybe come down on how important cooking food to
consistency in shake making, sometimes it's like a liquid smoothie other times it's not
plan on at least 30 minutes in the drive through (not kidding) if there are a few cars in the line (hint drop to avoid drive through unless nobody else is there, but even then it's a wait) - good food takes time? yes but sometimes you wait and your sandwich bun is soggy?
need to go into the store, look at your food, if it's good, you got a good drive through day, if not, you gotta go in to get what was missed...

Just the Customer is Wrong
Remember that… we went and I ordered a peach shake a bit ago and they misheard and gave us a Heath shake. No big deal, I gave it to my wife. Then they demanded we give them the half eaten shake BACK through their window to do who knows what with and had the audacity to charge us for the premium Heath price. They said if we didn’t give it back they would not remake it. Okay, I guess that’s disturbing but if they are that hung up on saving a buck, whatever. It’s not even a buck saved UNLESS you are reselling eaten ice cream… 😟 Still following me? We called the manager and when she found out it was us she scoffed, begrudgingly refunded it, and hung up as fast as she could without an explanation, apology, anything. She didn’t give a (insert whatever word you want here) how we were let down service-wise. The staff didn’t seem to be in the wrong, no. Just the Customer is Wrong. And I think you should know that my wife was eating for two at the time before our baby was born. Don’t mess with people’s food or hold it ransom. It should be 100% unheard of for food to come back into the window. Yeah, that Heath shake was delicious, I’ll give you that. I regret “giving it back” to you guys but I don’t regret the money I’ll save from being in the wrong...
