China Pantry — Restaurant in Pueblo

Today I took one of the kids I work with to China Pantry in Pueblo, CO and encountered a disappointing issue with payment. My American Express card was denied by the assistant manager, who stated, “We do not accept American Express.” I have used my American Express at this location before with no problem. Despite our food already being packed in a container and my polite request for an exception, I was told “Sorry, I cannot accept this.” This was frustrating and inconvenient, especially since I have previously paid by American Express at this restaurant. Clear communication and consistency regarding payment policies are important, especially for families, caregivers, and those supporting children with special needs. I hope China Pantry updates its practices to better support all patrons...

I ate at this place maybe three or four times a year and the noodles are fine the rice is okay but the big part of it is the main courses when you get big vegetables and hardly any meat how do you need chicken or beef or pork it's disgusting she's going to rip off for probably about 30 years now and charging a couple bucks higher now it's not bad but it's not great and it's a case about it like I said about 2 to 3 sometimes at 5:00 how to go there cuz I don't want to go all the way to springs and it's for close to my house by blocks away but other than that I bypass as much as I can that's the only place in the mall that's really edible sometimes not yet to watch yourself sometimes it's slapping the sloppy sloppy sloppy nasty nasty nasty it's March 31 2025 watch out 2026 the mall is...

We got food to go on January 1, 2018. We didn't eat until we got to the car and were on our way, or I would have taken it back. It was inedible, and I am not picky. The cheese wontons were ok, without them we would have gone hungry. The fried rice tasted burned and the entrees were greasy, lacked flavor, and tasted like they had been sitting a long time. The chicken had that skunky taste that old/poor quality chicken has. $$ down the drain, I won't eat...
