We saw this place when the traffic was bad on hwy 50. I'm so disappointed! They claim to be candy makers. Sure, the candy they have is made somewhere else. I got what I thought was a haystack. Chocolate shell with a ball of coconut. Definitely not a haystack! The thin layer of chocolate wasn't even a good chocolate! The definition of a haystack, coconut with chocolate formed in a ball, not some ball of coconut with a shell of chocolate that resembles the chocolate shell you get on ice cream. Not at all what homemade candy is supposed to be. This is a waste of time and money! Stick to selling other manufacturers candy, They know how to make candy. What you call candy isn't that. It's a deceitful display of a failed design.

Update on my second cake Wow just how awesome of a job Aubrey did on my son's Flopper Fish Cake! My son was so happy and excited! Definitely worth coming and getting y'all's cakes from here! OMG Amazing! I absolutely love how my son's first birthday cake came out! It was actually so much more detailed than the picture I gave her. She added the teeth to the dinosaur and eye color to them as well. Just awesome and the strawberry filling tastes so so good! Aubrey u did spectacular! Also very well priced. Can't wait for our next cake!

We got a birthday cake for my mom. It was beautifully decorated but everything was so dry. We broke 2 plastic knives cutting through it. The cake was dry and crumbly but at the same time really really dense. The frosting wasn't bad but it was clearly old. Cracking in places and all hard. We watched as every family member took a bite, grimaced, and threw it away. Almost 150 for a disgusting cake. The customer service was good and again it was beautiful, but a cake is meant to be eaten and that cake was not edible.

For months I've been searching for a store that carries sugar free cinnamon disk. Nobody did or even attempted to try and add them to their stock. I sent a request to candy kitchen about 2 months ago and Pennie the owner sent me a text this week telling me they ordered them and are now stocking them. I met her this week it was the 1st time id visited her store. She was very friendly, professional and caring as to my needs as a diebetic. The disc are great and half the price of buying them on Amazon. She also has a big selection of other goodies both sugar free and regular. I would recommend maggies candy kitchen to everyone. Thanks Pennie for taking the time and effort to carry the product I couldn't find...

This is really interesting place as they have a lot of selection of hard to find candies and soda. They have a small bakery of breads and other confections like chocolate the taste pretty good. The one thing they did not like was the prices. The prices were so bad that they had a sale by one get 50% off and you were still overpaying. A simple search on Amazon for some of these candies was easy and you can get at a way cheaper price. The service was okay it was a teenage girl working the counter and she was nice just a little slow and I'm a little sick of the tipping culture where I bought a handful of candy and it asked me if I wanted to tip but that's not...
