We are big fans of Wendy's and normally have a consistent experience at all locations. This location was a huge exception. The store is not particularly well maintained and was not very clean. While the kitchen appeared to be fully staffed, the service was exceptionally slow and food quality poor. We were eating in and there was no one in line when we walked in, just one person waiting for their food. There was a long wait to even order as the team appeared to only be focusing on drive-through customers. We did finally order, but the wait was long to get the food.
By the time we received our food there were a dozen or more people in line. All of our food was clearly waiting for one sandwich, so everything was cold other than the spicy chicken. The freestyle coke machines were in need of maintenance, so one only had Hi-C and the other was out of CO2 and served the limited selections available completely flat. My wife waited at the side counter for 5 minutes trying to get their attention for the drink machines only to be told that they would get around to them when they could.
We understand that things have changed for the food service industry and good help is hard to find, but companies need to find a way to resolve this. If they don't, there will be no customers that need to be served. We won't let this single experience prevent us from going to another Wendy's in the future, but we certainly won't return to this one...
Read moreI walked in here at 9:50pm, through an open door. I stood at the counter, they were busy, I needed to use the restroom. I got the attention of the nearest employee and advised her I was going to the bathroom and would be right back. I used the facilities and came back. It was 9:55pm. The young lady told me they were now closed inside and I could drive through. I was already inside. It was before 10pm, the time indicated on the door for dining room closure. I looked at the coffee pot, roughly 2 yards away from me, and asked, "So, I have to drive around for coffee, even though it's right there?" She told me, "Yes, the register was already closed down." I left. I drove around to speak to the manager, to get an understanding of whether this is Wendy's level of customer care or not. The manager was worse than the cashier. Not only did she uphold an employee instructing a guest to drive thru when they had already been inside during operating hours and had not ordered at 9:50pm beacuse they were too busy to accomodate me, she told me the dining room closed at 9:50pm and that I had somehow walked through a locked door, miraculously. The manager had a crackish demeanor and was unprofessional. And, it wasn't my job to point out the ease of these people to just go to the drive thru and ring it up for me, especially considering they are the cause of all of this, and your store isn't closed yet!! Worst Wendy's I've...
Read moreWent to drop my brother off at home and we saw Wendy's open. My son immediately wanted that new takis burger he had been seeing advertised. We pulled up through drive thru at about 10:42 p.m. or so. Lights all on, sat at the drive thru several minutes and just kept hearing clicks. I saw employee at window and waited a bit longer. I didn't get any response when asking if they were going to take my order. No answer so I pulled up to windows and no one came to the windows so I drove back to the drive thru speaker. After a few more minutes, I drove up to the window again and knocked on their window. Employee opens it and says they were closed. I asked what time they closed and she aid at 11p.m. I told her it wasn't 11 yet and she said it was 10:57 p.m. and I told her that I had been in the drive through for like 10 minutes and they could have let me know they were closed. She said they didn't have their headset on. I totally get it, I hate to be the person to pull up last minute to place an order but I didn't google to find out when it was closing time. I let the girl know they should have turned lights off and or let the patrons know they were closed instead of letting them sit there. I guess they can't officially turn lights off until they actually close, so they just stop working and...
