I kinda felt like this place was really like a 3.5-3.7 place. I went ahead and did the 3 stair as it’s not a real 4 star place. The place itself has a good selection of food. I loved their rice and grain side. And my wife for some fried smashed plantain that was alright and hit the spot on a hungry stomach. This place has restrooms and 50c pool tables!!!! Beware one of the pool table is missing balls. Overall wouldn’t come here again but it hit the spot for overall spent food and pool table of $6.50.

Another little kiosk, towards the entrance of the Marginal Street next to the public beach. Offering the similar fritters from the multitude of other locations, this place got pretty beat up after Hurricane Maria hit in September. They are getting up to speed slowly but surely. Prices were a little better than the other ones. This place, as many as the other ones, has access to the beach behind it. But the beach is certainly not one of my favorites. Quite dirty and full of broken glass and debris.

If Puerto Rico’s got a comfort food then this is it! Naty (hope I spelt that right) assured my wife and I that she wouldn’t disappoint, and she didn’t with a huge portion of the Octopus salad, beans and rice and a schmorgaaborg of every meat in the hot case! OMG, stop and give it a shot at #59

Buyer beWare...The alcapurias are made with a mixture of corn flour and yuca/platanos. They arent selling the traditional alcapurias WE natives eat. Thus far the authentic alcapurias are being sold at La Parilla.

If you have been swimming all day or smoking herbs you won't KNOW the difference. But if u are craving authentic BORICUA fritters don't come...
