Lechón al Carbón is an aluminum trailer food truck evolved from a table, tent and acrylic box display, but the food is authentic Puerto Rican food. Lechón asao’ (roasted over charcoal whole pig) arroz con gandules (rice w/ pigeon peas) guineitos (boiled green bananas)morcillas (blood sausage) and the pork sandwiches which are the bomb. Every year is a MUST included in our family vacation. Friendly owner who will greet you with a piece of cuerito (pork rind) or piece of lechón as he is chopping your order up. Always a great authentic experience full of authentic flavor. A must while in the Luquillo area.
