A Must-Try Breakfast in Puerto Rico!
This little mom-and-pop bakery was a highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico! Even though we were rushing to a snorkeling excursion, stopping here for breakfast around 7-8 AM was the best decision we made. We grabbed some coffee, oatmeal, and their pressed sandwiches, which were an absolute revelation. Seriously, those sandwiches were the best meal we had in all of Puerto Rico!
What truly made the experience even better were the people. The staff were incredibly friendly, and even though we didn't speak the language, we had absolutely no trouble communicating. The locals went out of their way to understand us and help us pick the best food, ensuring we had a great experience. The sandwiches were good- I love how much flavor they had. The cubano sandwich meat was a bit dry and tough to chew but wasn’t too bad. The bread was nice and toasted warm which we really enjoyed!! The ice coffee was served in a paper cup with a little bit too much ice for my liking.
The service though was a 3/5 for me- the lady at the counter did not have a welcoming attitude.
Overall I’d come back again and try something else...
