Mandarin House — Restaurant in Pullman

I am a regular customer of this restaurant. I recommended this restaurant to my friends as well. But, I am really sad and disappointed with their tonight's attitude. We ordered our usuals. They had lots of eggs and oil in the rice this time. We asked them if they could remake it for us (considering we are regular customers). But, they started blaming us that you should have told us before, we said we never had to say before, how would we know. Then the waitress just made face and rudely said I will pay for this rice but next time let us know and took the rice. She said somebody has to pay for the cooked food. Then some other person came and started explaining that they always put lot of egg and oil. We again explained. But he also started saying let us know before hand. They did remake it for us. But, we had lost our appetite by then. I really did not expect this kind...

The staff is extremely nice, delivery is fast considering the quality of the restaurant. (Typically around only 30 min) and the food is DELICIOUS! The Fried Rice is absolutely TO DIE FOR, by far the best I've ever had in my life.

The only small drawback is it's pretty dang expensive especially for a college student, the portions are huge which helps but the delivery charge is ridiculous. My most recent order came to $21 and had a monsterous $7 delivery charge taking it to $28, and that's before a tip!

Maybe I order too much, and that's on me but it does seem like a pretty steep charge.

Overall the food is excellent, and the service is great but it's too expensive for anything more than a once a month treat.

Order the Fried Rice! It's a meal size and I guarantee you...

UPDATE! Came back again, got the spicy hot pot, learned flamethrower, belly happy, had to be carried home, good poops and good food!!

I could not think of a better place to have my birthday dinner at in Pullman! I haven’t had good hot pot in a while and it’s not good, it’s GREAT here!! The House Special was fantastic and so tasty that I emptied my whole pot in my belly! #foodcoma Now I’ve had quite a few different beers around Pullman, but there’s finally something new and tasty that’s worth mentioning and that is this Sweet Touch Lychee beer! The owner James was super nice and was taking great care of us! I like the quiet scenery of this restaurant and highly recommended this if you’re looking for something actually good to eat in Pullman!! 11/10...
