I was very pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the park with all the tropical foliage. As a Master Gardener I was in total bliss and vaulted further into complete ecstasy when I toured the community garden! I gasped in awe and my mouth dropped open at the splendor of all the different ways people had worked out to fit a lot of vegetables in a small space.
I talked to some nice people and was so impressed by the area that I plan to move there as soon as possible.

Read moreWell ... what can I say. There was a time that we looked forward to visiting the Sunday Farmer's Market. But not this year.
About one third of the vendors aren't there now. There are still only 2 produce vendors and their selections can be sketchy. We bought what we considered the best tomatos there 10 days ago, paid 6 bucks for 4, and they are still not ripe. 3 for 2 bucks zucchini isn't necessarily a good deal either.
And worst of all ... the face mask situation. About half of the vendors and half of the patrons were maskless.
