Not the most honest workers when the busboy/waiter steals a wedding ring from a Coronavirus related widow. The waitress Anne was very friendly yesterday. She told me her sister lives near San Francisco after I said I was visiting from California to help my older sister because my brother-in-law passed away 5 months ago from Covid-19. Food was fresh but gave me the runs less than an hour later & unfortunately my sister removed her wedding ring to use the provided disposable gloves that are used to eat the cajun shrimp. After eating we both got up to use the restroom & when we returned the dirty dishes & half full cups of sodas were gone & the table was wiped clean. Unfortunately the wedding ring which was a huge diamond solitaire on a white gold band was left on the table & my sister forgot about it until late last night. To make matters worse the restaurant didn't open until 3pm today. I immediately called & spoke to same nice waitress who said neither of the 2 men that would've cleaned up mentioned or turned in the ring. She also said because of the messy meals it's common for guests to forget hand jewelry on the table so they(employees) know to always check table before cleaning up. That made me furious because it proves the employee was dishonest & stole the ring instead of returning it to the restaurant manager. It's horrible that this happened to a grieving widow. When filing a police report the officer said that there have been other reports against this business for similar incidents. The owner claims cameras show that ring was never removed which is even more of an insult since I personally seen my sister remove it & place it on her right side of he table. She initially tried putting on a glove with it on but the big diamond tore it so she was forced to remove it before putting on a new glove. The management of this restaurant is a disgrace for lying to cover up the dirty deeds of an employee committing theft. The manager welcomed us to view cameras a day later but we were not allowed to check trash containers after they suggested it may have been accidentally thrown away. According to the police officer who took our report unfortunately, video footage can be altered & again said it's not the first report of lost jewelry at...

We decided today will be the day that we try a restaurant that we’ve never eaten at on meridian and totally enjoyed ourselves. We arrived around 11:30am and by 12:45, the restaurant was pretty much at full capacity. So if your an early person, get there when they first open. My beautiful wife and I shared the seafood combo number 1, and I had a Moscow mule, my wife, a dirty apple sour. To start, I have zero issues with the drinks. They did happen to come at the right time. When someone finally mentions how long it has been since we last ordered our drinks lol. When the food arrived, which didn’t seem to take very long, we immediately dived in and became sucked into the seasonings. All was good with the food, but I will say that (the restaurant doesn’t mention anything about fresh seafood, so no big deal.) I did notice that the food was frozen, and not fresh after sucking on the crawfish heads. Overall, all was good. To end in a positive note; the juice is so good, that you’d wish they could bottle it! We enjoyed ourselves. Oh, not a big deal, because we’re introverts, but the interaction between us and the employees was minimal, which we like. I recommend and I think the community recommends this restaurant as well. Oh one more thing lol. There music choice was pretty cool and odd T the same time. They were playing the R&B singer Joe and Marques Houston songs. I didn’t think people still listened to R&B...

Please be advised: This is not a Cajun restaurant despite its name. It is an Asian restaurant, which is fine if you are in the mood for the Asian experience and not thinking it is a Cajun place with authentic food, Zydeco music, a beer selection from New Orleans, and a wide variety of Cajun foods. Be prepared to be greeted by a gold Buddha and waitresses that set down all your drinks and food at one end of the table expecting you to distribute them yourselves (we were a party of six with kids). My brother had to ask that the waitress deliver our food to the end of the table and she acted completely put out.

We stayed and gave Boiling Crawfish a chance because it had good reviews despite being relatively new. It took 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our large party at the front door. We were seated and were not given menus for another 5 minutes. Our food took 25 minutes to arrive. The menu is filled with fried fish and other fried items (fried seafood sandwiches). You are also okay if you want Asian choices like noodles. But, don’t go there if you are looking for any kind of fresh fish not fried - or Cajun food for that matter.

I’m giving Boiling Crawfish 2 stars because a couple people in the party did like their fried fish baskets. The rest of us were disappointed and not only will I never go back, but I will be more careful about checking out places in the area...

I have been wanting to try this place out for a while now and glad I finally did! Came in for a solo lunch and got seated right away, tucked into a somewhat poorly lit corner of the restaurant (which I didn’t mind being further away from the entrance). Ordered their Lychee Splash to start. It was good but wish it was more tart and less crushed ice. It reminded me of lot more of a slushy juice drink with hint of rum. Then came out the star of this entire experience. I had their combo #2 that came with plenty of plump juicy shrimp(head off), clean green lip mussels, corn and potatoes -tossed in their DELICIOUS house sauce with level 4 spicy. Easily one of the most flavorful and best seafood boils I’ve had. Also, asked them for a side of their Asian French bread and EXTRA lime which complimented the meal. Pricing was a bit up there, but I mean seafood is always going to be that way unless you want horrible quality seafood (this was not the case, everything was fresh to me). The only thing that would make this truly better is if they changed the lighting in the restaurant. It was pretty dimly lit in there and I had to give my eyes some time to adjust before I eventually was able to see the menu clearly. It just has a “dark or gloomy” ambience, which may be okay for some but it would have made such a huge difference if it was brighter in there.

I’d heard how good the food was so i finally went. It’s a small place which seems to have a vast customer base. Not ample seats for waiting though! A lot of people who can’t stand long entered. I ended up ordering catfish and sausage fried rice. I asked if it was real catfish and if it was an entire fillet or steak. The host said fillets. So I ordered an additional fillet for $6 more. Others in my party ordered theirs. We were a to go order. The host said about 30 minutes. At 45 minutes of waiting and a couple of walk in ordering folks left, I had to ask because we were there forays d catfish and rice is not complicated. He claimed it was coming. Still more orders before mine. One hour later, I asked the young lady bringing the food out in bags and showed her my receipt. She said she was about to pack it up. Over one hour for 3 pieces of catfish fries and rice. Ridiculous So the videos show the lack of entire filet it was maybe one filet cut up in 3 pieces for over $25 and a field of rice which had a good flavor but wasn’t what I imagined as fried rice either. It was a huge expensive but HUGE disappointment and no I won’t go back nor refer anyone. The crowds will more than makeup for that unless they tire of the ridiculous cost for less than basic food.

I have loved this place precovid.. I drive from Olympia just to eat here! First bad experience was right after everything opened back up from being shut down.. I ordered a snow crab boil was clearly frozen, still ice cold when I bit into it, which is totally unacceptable. My boyfriend ordered a chicken strip basket with a side of extra fries and they completely forgot his meal. I sent back my boil and they brought back a claiming to be a new batch which still wasn't to my standards besides being to temp. Also they only check up on your table if you have alcohol or a problem. I took a break from them, but last night decided to give them another shot.. sad to report half of my crab was luke warm and the rest was ice cold. The waiters are subpar, the portions are okay, the prices are high, worstly I had the runs the next day and honestly the best thing on the menu is Cajun fries. I've been a loyal customer for years and now I won't be back. I understand it happening once, yet especially during the peak of seafood there is no excuse for frozen.
