We had a great waitress. She checked on us several times and kept our drinks filled. But the manager was loud and played with the employees at the back of the bar. We had garlic parmesan nuggets as an appetizer, we ended up getting food poison the next morning. The chicken was NOT COOKED!!!!!
We tried Applebees last week (September 4th) . We had a GREAT waitress (Maddie), We went around 5 pm. The food was good and we enjoyed ourselves. We returned (9/10) and went to the restaurant around (3pm) and was a total difference of service. We where sitting at our table for for at least 20 minutes after being served our appetizer. When our dinner was served my salad was served with my dinner (I hate this, salad is served before dinner but my waitress decided that since I was have a salad instead of a vegetables to was to be served with the dinner). My steak was dry and tough. It is now 7pm and my husband has an upset stomach and he is having trouble to keep his dinner down. Applebees is a hit and miss restaurant.

Wow, what a night. We tried Applebees and tonight was a TRUE MISS. We had to wait over 10 minutes for staff to even rwalize that we there to be seated. All the servers where sitting around a larger table in the back of the restaurant.
Every table around us and ourselves had trouble at the restaurant.
First, the waitstaff does not write anything down. So that could be the beginning of all the wrong orders.
Then the table in front of us, thier order was lost. They didn't get thier food for over 35 minutes. The manager had to come out and comp thier entire food order and when it did come out the manager served the food. The table to the right of us, thier food came loaded with fried onions and both orders where NOT to have any onions. They told the server that the gentleman at the table had a allergic reaction to onions and not to have his food cooked with or near his food. We had ordered an appetizer of spinach dip. Wow! It was so salty that we could not eat it. I had asked for a side ceaser salad with the dressing on the side. It was barely a handful of romaine lettuce with cheese and croutons and I end up paying $5:99 for that. But it was the only thing that I ordered that came out from the kitchen that was made right.
My hamburger was barley cooked and I asked for it to be well done. I actually said burn it! The first time it came out I bit into it and the amount of grease and juice from the hamburger not being cooked shot into my mouth. It was so under cooked that there was red juice on my plate, the bottom roll was soaked in the middle from the hamburger being under cooked. It was so under cooked the the meat so raw in the middle. We and the other guests had to ask a different waitstaff to get our waiter attention to get services to return the food and find out what happened to the missing order. . The second time my hamburger came out, there was a tomato on the burger (which I ordered with no tomato) and had no onions or pickles. Just lettuce and tomato. WRONG. When we sent back my meal to be recooked I asked for a refill of my unsweetened ice tea. We once again had to ask other waitstaff to find our waiter to remind him that we had asked for a refill. When he did come over and we remind him , he said "oh, yeah, I'll get that for you right away ". I ended up giving my hamburger to my husband to eat and all I had for dinner was French fries. As we where walking out the guests from the table to the right of us talked and they told us about all thier problems they had with thier meal and told us that the service and cooking are better on weekdays than weekends. We all laughed.
I guess that it is going to be another LONG time before we even think about returning...
