Yum Yum Bake Shops — Restaurant in Quakertown

I was across the street from Yum Yum and it smelt like funnel cake 😋 outside which is what enticed me to walk into this establishment for the first time. My husband and I order a 1/2 dozen of fresh donuts and a medium Caramel Iced Latte. The donuts were SO AMAZING 🤩 we had to return the next day (12/22/23) to do that again. Our order today was an Egg & Cheese sandwich on a bagel, three donuts and two small Caramel Iced coffees. I should have taken the picture of my sandwich before I added my mayo and ketchup so I apologize about that.

My very first job was this Bistro back in Jersey and without disclosing the business, they would microwave their eggs 🫣. I worked at that job for two years so respectfully, I know what a microwaved egg looks like 😩

I can tell that Yum Yum definitely specializes in freshly made donuts and treats and I love that. The only reason why I didn't give them a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating is because if you're going to charge $4.49 for an Egg & Cheese sandwich at least cook the eggs

First time at Yum Yum because my daughter wanted to bring donuts in for her class for her birthday. I placed an order online yesterday for pickup this morning while frantically dealing with other birthday preparations but accidentally requested the wrong pickup time, and didn't realize it until I left this morning to pick up the order. I called and left a message about my situation. Arrived and went in fully expecting to be made to feel stupid or told I had to wait until the time I selected when ordering, not because Yum Yum had ever given me a reason to expect this but rather because that's just typically what I've come to expect from online food ordering services in general. But the employees working this morning had gotten my message and already had my order started by the time I got there, over an hour earlier than the time I had (accidentally) requested, and were completely understanding and jovial about it. I have never been so disappointed as I was when I walked into Yum Yum Bake Shop in Quakertown Pennsylvania for a donut. I traveled 20 miles and 35 minutes just to have their doughnuts. At 5:05 PM today July 8, 2023 I began to order a dozen doughnuts. After making my first selection I explained to the girl behind the counter that I am "deadly allergic to chocolate". She had just picked up a piece of tissue paper and for no reason decided to adjust a chocolate chip muffin with a choclate drizzle. Then picked up my selection with the same tissue and put it in the box. After explaining the error to to the girl and reminding her "I am deadly allergic to choclate" she removed my selection from the box returned it to the shelf and proceeded to grab another doughnut of my selected flavor with the same cross contaminated tissue paper.
