This location serves the SPICY GUACAMOLE salsa! This location and one more in north Phoenix are the only locations that I know of that have this salsa. This sauce is bomb! IT ISN'T AVAILABLE AT EVERY FB I WISH IT WAS! The restaurant itself is CLEAN and SPACIOUS. It has booths and tables for seating and lots of .25 cent machines inside for kids (gumballs, stickers, trinkets etc). COMPLIMENTARY TORTILLA CHIPS self-serve up front nearby the registers where You place your order. You can have chips and salsa while you wait for your food to be cooked. The only negative about this location is the parking lot, this parking lot is for the Filibertos customers and about 6 other businesses. If only the parking lot was bigger... The parking lot has nothing to do with the quality of the food or the cleanliness of the restaurant inside, so im not sure why im mentioning it lol! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE each and every time I've dined in or taken my order to-go. The employees take my order correctly every time! My food has always been cooked, well seasoned, not too greasy, fresh; no complaints at all. The food is always great! The cashiers have always been pleasant to interact with. Whoever is at the register gives me great descriptions of the menu whenever I ask about something I haven't tried. I never get an, "I don't know" or "I haven't tired it before but I'm sure it's good," if I'm looking for something new to eat the cashier has a great answer that is helpful to me while im making a decision. I like this place, my...
Read moreI just got off the phone with these people and I am appalled. I ordered a burrito with sour cream and extra cheese. My first issue was that I'm eating and the meat is weird, not the normal stuff. On top of that, it is all meat. 3 or so bites in I'm now thinking the made the thing upside down and I'm going to get all the other stuff at the bottom. I was right but on top of that there is no extra cheese, barely any cheese at all. No pico, which comes with it, no sour cream. So I'm charged extra for cheese and sour cream and don't have any of the above. I take a picture of the whole mess along with the receipt with the date and all on it and I call them up. They have the nerve to get upset about the fact that I can't be there until after work and then they tell me that I have to bring the whole burrito to them and they will only exchange it. What the heck am I to do for lunch? Why do I want a burrito for dinner now? Already, I'm driving out of my way due to their screw up and now I have to keep a burrito at my desk and go hungry? She didn't get it, got snotty, and hung up on me. Not only is the food bland, but they are always just uninterested in the costumers. Eye rolling, sighs, dragging out words. No, "Hello, welcome to Filiberto's.". I'm done. I'll eat at the other two more friendlier places...
Read moreSkip this place. Dirty tables. Unfriendly cashier. Below avg food. Inside are tables and chairs stacked on top of each other (because of covid?) If so, they could easily put them in storage to make the dine in experience better. The place is a total mess inside. Prices are not cheap, so we expected a lot more. The food? We had a Machaca breakfast plate and the meat was very low quality and had an off smell to it. We didn't eat it. Menudo: The menudo was average, but tasted okay, except the red dye they use in their menudo spice is overexaggerated. it is color bright blood red and will stain your mouth red. I've had a lot of authentic menudo in my life and have never seen one so bright red. We ordered guacamole on the side. It is not fresh guacamole, instead you will get a green watered-down syrup in a salsa container for $2.75. They didn't offer or give us napkins or salsa with our order for dine-in. We had to get up and ask for them after we had sat down with our food. Asking for napkins and salsa also came with an eye roll. We spent $32+ for 2 people for a $0-$10 experience. This is the worst Mex Restaurant i think i've...
