Placed an order online with a wait time of over an hour. No big deal it's a Friday night so I get it. We saw the delivery guy on our ring door bell walk up to the door and then walk away.. no pizza left. We waited 10 minutes and decided to call the restaurant to see what happened and was informed that our order was delivered to the wrong house and that the driver was working on getting our pizza back. Insinuating that they were going to take the pizza back from the people they delivered it to and redeliver it to us. We told them that we would not feel comfortable taking a pizza that was handled by someone else that wasn't a Papa John's employee. The girl on the phone started sounding really annoyed and rudely said "I guess we can remake it then but like we are really busy so it will take another hour or more." We told them that was unacceptable and just to cancel our order and refund our money which she replied "fine It's cancelled" and hung up the phone. Trust me I work in the service industry and get that mistakes happen but their refusal to accept responsibility or sheer lack of an apology was just unacceptable. I would recommend to avoid this Papa John's location if possible. We have been ordering from here for years but as of recently they just can't seem to get things right, not sure if it's a management change but something isn't working here anymore. Read moreThis location just can't seem to get it together. I have tried them several times and unfortunately I consistently have issues with my order. My experience today was enough to make me leave a review. My order was delivered to a different person. When I called and requested my order to be remade and sent to me again they said it was going to take 45 minutes. For the inconvenience I asked if they could upgrade my 2 large pizzas to 2 XL pizzas. I was told no because it messes with their inventory. My only options were a refund or credit. I had used $28 in rewards so I was only paying $1 for the pizzas and $11 and change for the tax, delivery fee and tip. When I asked if I would get my $28 in rewards back on my account if they refunded me I was told by the manager that he wasn't sure. After further discussion about how frequent my bad experiences were with this location he did upgrade my pizzas. However when I recieved my order both pizzas were incredibly thin. I dont know of this was mistake because they were rushing to catch up with the orders or if to "save the inventory" they took the dough for a large and stretched it to the size of an XL. Your store manager cancelled my order without even calling me because she said it was ordered 10 min before they open the store! She nor anyone else even bothered to call, my crew went without lunch as a result. I did receive a worthless email that I read later in the day. I believe this is a true reflection of your company's lack of leadership and care for customers. You management team referred to me on the phone as, "unsympathetic" ~when it was clearly your own disregard and lack of customer care that allowed this to happen.
The order was successful on line and I received the indication it was processed.
I am appalled at your overall lack of performed, common consideration, and lack of leadership on the part of your company.
