The level of poor quality poor customer service and unprofessionalism that this location alone struggles with is unreal. My husband gets frustrated with me anytime I even THINK about wanting to come to this place is laughable because I always want to give them just a little bit of benefit of a doubt just hoping the last issue was a fluke thinking that maybe they have hired a new team and that the same incompetent people are not working that day, but it never fails because every time and I mean EVERY TIME I make the choice to spend my hard earned money after a very long day of work and wanting something fast and convenient is never the case there is always an issue whether it be extreme wait times because they’re too busy trying to play catch-up because they are messing up everyone’s order or you’ve been waiting so long because they’ve asked you to pull around every time you go to the drive-through and it is every driver. No one actually gets their food at the window, and everyone has to discover that their order is incomplete, but I’ve been forgotten on several occasions completely missed over my order because they had me pull around and wait to the point where I was waiting extremely long times to get my issue addressed after having to go inside of the building I had even gotten to the point where I thought let’s just go inside to place our order only to still be disappointed because our order is still incorrect And anytime you have to address them about the incorrect orders they never want to own up to their part or they want to argue with you. I ordered a four piece all legs spicy one time and they thought they would just give me four of their legs from their “wings” not the actual chicken legs one time I went and didn’t get any of my sides or I got the wrong side. I’ve gone there and was completely forgot about after waiting over 45 minutes the. Had to still wait another 30 just to get my actual order or even a refund because there were so many other people In there with issues. I have even placed door dash orders and didn’t receive what I ordered or paid for and that is just what happened once again tonight. I placed an order through DoorDash and the driver messaged to explain that he had to give our order back several times because they kept getting The order incorrect and that was because the driver had to sit there and wait for them to even make the order. We waited over an hour to even get our food only to still get it incorrect down to the driver, even getting the wrong drinks didn’t receive the extra that we paid for, so when I called to address them about the matter Anahia Who is supposedly the manager on duty at the time that he was just going to brush me off because it was an order through DoorDash, and not a physical order made with them as I explained He tried cutting me off and said I would have to make my complaint with DoorDash. I proceeded to tell him no I wanted to make my complaint with them because it was their mistake And their issue it is always on their end where the mistakes are made yet no one wants to own up to then he thought it would be OK and professional to hang up on me. I tried to call back to get more information about who to contact higher up than him he ignored the phone call have caller ID so when I called back, he then answered and hung up when I called again. He answered immediately gave attitude when I asked who their regional was he refused to give me that information and said that I would just need to call corporate when I asked with the corporate number is he just told me I can go online he refused to give me any information although I can probably go online and get that information myself it’s not the point nor the principal at my job I’m required to give a customer the information they request even if it is my regional manager, general manager or the corporate number it’s ridiculous that there is not one person in their building that can count the proper number of chicken to put in a box or read a printed paper that has a complete order of what needs...

I have been a customer of Popeye's in Queen Creek for more than a decade, even before my 10 year old daughter was born but I will never ever go back here!
Before I went to the window of drive-thru, I put away my old $20 bill because I was told by a store associate that it could be a collectible bill. I didn't have another $20 bill, so I decided that I will use one of my $50 bills (out of $500 cash I had on hand that time. I had 8 pcs of $50 and 1 pc of $100, no lower bills) that I was gonna deposit to Wellsfargo bank that day. As I pulled up to the window, for some reasons I didn't know that I gave my collectible $20 bill. I told the cashier when I received the change that I gave her $50, not $20 since I don't have $20 in the bills that I was going to deposit.
The cashier then called someone. I was told I tried to trick them because they showed me that I only gave them $20. I was surprised I didn't know I handed the $20 collectible that I put in the cupboard. I apologized and told them that I'll give them one of my $50s as I originally planned. That person in blue shirt told me that I tried to trick them.
I was shocked! I never trick or fooled anyone in my life, moreso to ruin my name for just $50! That woman did not want to take my $50, I said I wanna keep my old $20 bill and thought I put it away but mistakenly gave it to them. She told me to just come back with another $20 bill. I started to get upset that I was accused of tricking them for money and when she won't accept my other cash ir even asked for my credit card so I returned all the foods, change, and the receipt. I asked her what's her name because I will report to the corporate but she closed the window on me.
I was exhausted from intense gym training and running errands before I went to Popeyes with my daughter.
I had been a customer of this same place in Ocotillo. Queem Creek for more than 10 years, but for the past few years, their foods and service started getting bad. High turn over of workers. Every time I come here, there's issue. Last July 20, I was here as well with my husband and daughter and they gave us mashed potato instead of fries so husband had to go back to have it replaced. The chicken that we had looked raw ( I took photos). And it was to go order but there's no napkins so we ate the chickens in the vehicle with messy and oily hands. Their trees as well at the parking lot at that time were so dense. I told my husband that thise trees could break easily during monsoon in East Vally which starts in August and those trees will land on the customer's vehicles.
It's sad what's happening to this branch. The womam in blue might be the manager on duty and I could see that some bad customers could do tricks like that to them, but hey, not me! She should have been more patient and bit her tongue and just talked to her employees about the situation so it did not escelate like that. Or she could have had better solution to the problem and different approach at that scenario. I'm sorry, but her customer service sucks. It stinks! Extremely poor! Too quick to leave bad words and accusation to the customer. It ruined my day. I wasn't able to pass by at Wellsfargo and just went home directly. Daughter and I ended up not eating lunch. I lost my appetite as well due to what happened.
I will not come back here ever! I am glad that we already have Canes Restaurant in the area that sells better and healthier chickens than them! Canes chickens are not too oily. The breading of Canes chickens are not too thick either and their chickens are properly cooked, not raw compared to the chickens of this Popeye's branch. Oh, and the customer service at Canes is awesome and professional, the store is clean and organized. So I recommend to everyone to try Canes. I am not even paid by Cane's and this sounds like I'm...

FULL STORY: I stopped eating at KFC because the chicken wasn't as good as it used to be. So, I tried Popeye's over 10 years ago (the Dobson and Broadway location) and it was LESS flavorful than KFC chicken. I was passing by this location and I thought, "Hey! I haven't tried Popeye's in a while. Maybe, THIS place will be better than the other place. I should give them another try." Except THIS time I ordered the 4 Piece "Spicy" Dark-meat Meal, instead of the PLAIN Dark-meat Meal. I don't like white-meat pieces because it has less flavor than the dark-meat pieces. I sat down, took a bite of one drumstick and realized it didn't taste like anything. So, I thought, "Maybe it's just this ONE piece." So, I tried the second drumstick and it, too, didn't taste like ANYTHING. Those two pieces made me think, "Well, maybe they gave me the PLAIN fried chicken instead of the spicy." I thought this because there was NO SIGN OF ANY KIND OF SPICE AT ALL; NOT EVEN SALT! So, I walk up to the counter and asked if they gave me the plain ones by mistake. The guy that served me said, "No, I gave him the ones from the bottom shelf." (which were SUPPOSED to be the spicy ones). I clearly said, "That's weird! Because, this stuff doesn't taste like anything." Then, I asked if they had any hot-sauce. And the woman gave me a handful of Louisiana brand hot-sauce packets. So, I tried a bite of one of the thighs, and it too was FLAVOR-LESS! I added the hot-sauce and it didn't do much for the flavor; all I ended up tasting was the hot-sauce (Louisiana brand hot-sauce is one of my all-time favorites, by the way). I tried the biscuit that came with the meal and it was like chewing on dry, flavor-less grits. After I left this place, I was about 30 minutes into a one hour drive home and I burped. That BURP tasted better than the "food" I was served here. NO JOKE!!! I've NEVER had a meal in which I knew I was chewing on "SOMETHING," but TASTED like I was chewing on NOTHING. It was like they forgot to add anything to the batter (not even SALT). To say something like, "The chicken here tasted like CARD-BOARD." would be a compliment because AT LEAST it would taste like SOMETHING! The fried chicken I buy from Walmart, Fry's Food and Winco has A LOT more flavor than THIS place. I just ate Walmart brand Spicy Fried Chicken about 20 minutes ago, and that Walmart brand fried chicken was actually A LOT better than the "stuff" I ate here at THIS Popeye's. I actually want more of the Walmart brand chicken; but, I would reject ANY Popeye's chicken put in front of me (even if it was FREE). Also, I know Fry's Food's brand fried chicken tastes better than Walmart's; and Winco's fried chicken tastes better than Fry's Food's fried chicken. Go get yourself some "Store Brand" fried chicken. Store Brand fried chicken is A LOT less expensive and tastes better, as well. I'm SERIOUSLY baffled as to why Popeye's is so popular. I had TERRIBLE experiences the two times I went there. It speaks volumes when the hot-sauce is the best tasting part of the meal and NOT the meal itself. STAY AWAY...
