I did call to see if they'd offer me a refund. Instead, I was offered a new sandwich. I don't live near that D'Angelo so I couldn't go back right away. Today, I called to see if I could arrange to stop by on Friday. I was told no and that they wouldn't be honoring their promise to give me a new sandwich.
I guess they don't excel in customer service, which is really unfortunate. Oh well, I won't be going there anymore!! 🙄
I've always enjoyed D'Angelo sandwiches. And this visit was no different except for the "pocket". The meat fell out of the bottom making it hard to eat. And with all due respect, for the cost of a medium #9, I should have had no issues whatsoever. There was a straight up "slit" in the bottom of the pocket
I kinda wanted my money back, but I no longer live in Dorchester so it didn't make sense to drive all the way back from the south shore.
Now I know not go get anything in a "pocket". I hadn't been to D'Angelo in over 20 years, so this was a serious letdown. The meat was good, I just wish that whoever prepared my sandwich would have fixed it before giving it to me.

Read moreI am writing this because I feel as though this should be brought to someone's attention. My best friend and I were super hungry last night coming back from Boston. I suggested to him that we stop at this specific D'Angelo location because I've heard they have great customer service. Him and I both walked in and were to told to sit down. The Haitian manager on duty told us to wait and "ill get to you when i get to you.". We weren't being rude or pushy about it and were very taken back by the fact someone in customer service could be this way to a customer. I understand everyone has bad days, but this seemed like a type of hatred one could only possess for a job they dislike heavily. After the manager had spoken to us that way we weren't hungry after that so we left. Extremely unprofessional and corporate should do something about that manager. definitely won't be coming back...
Read moreDi Angelo is a tremendous company, a company where they make all the sandwiches at the moment practically in front of the person they have a good taste but this this message is dedicated to the company as such or if there is someone who is reading the rating comments as such as I already said It is tremendous company and they give good service but it is already the third time that when I buy at Dangelo they are not cleaning the Grill well and when you take the sandwiches home or to your car or even right there in the restaurant when you go to eat when one begins to eat the sandwich one finds bits and pieces of dirt from the Grill, that is, that makes us understand why they are not cleaning the Grill as it should be, it is only my opinion and I hope they improve to continue giving a better service to the entire community and all customers thank you sincerely angel Boston...
