Mama Bear's Kitchen — Restaurant in Quincy

My review is based solely on their pizza alone. I cannot attest to the other food there, and some of it looks... questionable at best.

IMO Mama bears has some of the best pizza in Quincy. They are open late, which is a huge plus, because usually pizza places that are open late suck. I like greek pizza, so this place is gets high praise from me personally.

This place also has vegan pizza. As a person with a vegan partner, this is like finding water in the desert. Finding a place she can eat generally anywhere - let alone quincy, is a big reason why i am a repeat customer. Never get rid of the vegan pizza.

The service of this place leaves room for improvement. If you order your pizza online, there is a 50% chance it will arrive on time. The other 50% of the time you need to call them, at which they will (without fail) tell you that "the guy just left, it will be there soon", which is code for "oh sh*t, we forgot"

However, their score gets a bump because at one point in time, they used to answer the phone with "hello, welcome to mama bears pizza. what does your tummy desire?" - which is so absurd to ask people, that you could hear the exhaustion in the persons voice every time they said it. They eventually stopped saying it, sadly - presumably because people like me would audibly laugh over the phone at the poor woman on the other end. But i loved it. I really wish they would bring it back. Please, bring this tradition back. My tummy desires to be asked what my tummy...

I ordered two Caesar Wraps.. They both were delivered without any caesar dressing as they are supposed to come.

We were starving after waiting well over an hour already but I called immediately and waited for my replacement. My son started eating without realizing it was dry and gross but was too hungry to stop eating most of it..

Then I get a call back that they want the food they made wrong and admitted was wrong and the phone person's fault because she forgot the dressing..

But I returned my full wrap and the quarter or so my son hadn't finished.

Weeks went by because I was not happy with my last order..

I called back last night for another try at getting my order right. I gave my address and then was promptly told to hold..

The self proclaimed manager got on the phone with a huge attitude and told me I didn't return both wraps intact so I now owed them for the wrap they screwed up and was welcome to order again after paying them for there mess up..

I asked for the female manager's name and she even more rudely said no and hung up on me.

I'll never order anything from Mama Bear again.

The manager isn't a mama bear, she's more like a rabid wild boar. The service is disgusting!! Dinner's beware.

Except for the delivery driver! She was always kind with a great personality! 5 stars for her only! Hope she gets a better...

This place is horrible. I think the owner has alot to learn about customer service and satisfaction. I went there and ordered a large steak fries and get home to find them over cooked and full of salt. I call her to explain my disatisfaction and could not continue to eat them. She said , I can bring them back because she has to see them because she can't take my word over the phone. I bring the back because spending almost $8 on french fries that you can't eat is not acceptable. Only to get there and she starts arguing with me telling me she can't refund my money she can make me some more. I told her my stomach and mouth would not pleasently receive any more , I just want to be refunded, she steadily argued , saying there not over cooked and how does she know if they're her fries or I could of added salt. I'm like lady.. really...you're crazy. I called you 3 mins after I left you shop to inform you of my dissatisfaction. She continues to say I could of brought them from down the street somewhere. She starts grabbing her head and telling me she's not going to deal with this and finally refunds my $7.50. I've never encountered such craziness from a business owner. I wouldn't eat there if it was the last place on Earth. No business edicate at all. She is really crazy. Horrible...
