We had never ordered from Papa Gino’s before, but decided to give it a chance based on the ads we had seen online. We placed an order for in-store pick up and it said it would be ready around 6 o’clock. We got to the store a little bit before six and were met with a long line at the register. There were two employees, one of which seemed new, doing the ordering and making of all of the food. We got up to the register right around six to ask for our order and we were told it would be an additional 10 minutes (which really ended up being closer to 25). As we were waiting we watched several customers come in after the time their food was supposed to be ready and be met with the same 10 minute line. While we were watching them make the food we saw several unsanitary practices, including one of the employees using his T-shirt for a tissue and not washing hands between using gloves and not using gloves, as well as the delivery driver making food and not washing his hands first before transitioning from being outside. Several of the other customers were very disgruntled for being told a 10 minute wait and then waiting almost close to half an hour, especially when most of their order had been complete and was sitting and waiting and getting cold. We took our food back to our place and upon opening it we noticed a few problems, including the cinnamon sticks looking vastly different from what is advertised, temperature being wildly inconsistent between food items, and the worst being the taste. The sauce was tinny and tasted artificial, and aside from that most of the food didn’t taste like anything. Between the lack of service, the lack of cleanliness, the time it took for a simple order to be made, and the overall lack of flavor with the food we will not be returning to this...
Read moreI went there last Saturday with my friend and his wife for lunch. I had a coupon for a large cheese pizza and small cheese breadsticks. The people there were very nice and polite to us. The place was also very busy at the time. the girl at the counter brought our cheese breadsticks over and asked us if we wanted them now. I said yes because who knows how long it would have taken for us to get our pizza. The cheese breadsticks were fine. While we were still waiting for our pizza I asked my friend to find out what was going on with it. The manager told him that someone had placed a huge order for several pizzas. When we finally did get our pizza. It was not exactly the greatest pizza at all. The crust was very crunchy and tasted like it was burnt. My friend tried to cut the pizza with a knife and fork and it looked like he was sawing wood. When the girl from the counter come by us my friend told her that he was very disappointed with the pizza. She said sorry and that she would talk to the manager about it. Not only did she talk to the manager. My friend also talked to the manager as well. The manager said that he would give us...

UPDATE: absolute redemption for this Papa Gino’s. It seems they may have gotten the new team/team members. This meat combo is made right and hits all the spots of what the Papa Gino pie should be. I even had to call to give them a shout out. Credit where it’s due 🥳 (I did order midday Monday during lunchtime, but the time they’re open, shouldn’t affect the quality)
Initial review: I order frequently and this was not great. Ordered an XL WELL DONE; this is not an XL or well done. If fact after this pic, I took a bite and it’s UNDERCOOKED. Not what I paid for.. it was a hour before close and it was clearly rushed.. don’t be open if you won’t make the...
