DISCLAIMER: Before today over the past 7 years, my family and I have ALWAYS received quality food and service. Angry Beaver of a worker in the drive thru: Customer service skills are substandard to say the least. I think she may be missing a few hugs in life. When I drove up to the drive thru window (no cars in the line ahead of me yay!) to inquire about the 2 flocks of wings I'd called 20 minutes prior to order, she opened the d~t window with her eyes stretched wide like she was going to come through the window at me! She then declared that 10 additional minutes are needed for the wings to cook. She then flung her long beautiful ponytail around and closed the window with intention. Confused; I pulled my car up and parked. I decided to go inside to inquire further. I entered the lobby shocked to see a mostly empty restaurant. There was no one in line and dining in were 3 customers and an employee on break. The shift leader apologized many times as I inquired about the delay. She did attempt to justify the delay by saying employee breaks contributed to the delay. She then said 6 more minutes and the wings will be done. Hesitant to do so I waited. 1 minute later, a young man emerges from the back and its clear that he is the cook. He opens the door to and enters the bathroom. I continue to wait another 2-3 minutes as I wait, the cook comes out of the bathroom and glances at me, we make eye contact as he walks to the back. It was at this time I decide, I no longer want the chicken. I requested a refund and was on my way. In this experience I observed: The older members of the staff although they seem sincere are a little too comfortable delivering apologies and accepting under performance from employees. Because of this, I am not willing to eat food that may or may not be quality. I gladly drove less than 1 mile up the street to another fried chicken...
Read moreI saw an advertisement about spicy wings and decided to make it today’s choice for lunch. I ordered the 4 piece SPICY chicken wings which came with a biscuit and two sides so I selected the wedges and macaroni and cheese.
Let me start by saying the biscuit was SO good! I would’ve rated it 10 stars!! These are definitely made from scratch! I really wished I had ordered more of those.
The spicy chicken wings I ordered were not spicy and I was a little thrown back when I saw a feather sticking out of one of them (I’m very grateful it was only on one piece). The potato wedges were OK, but the mac & cheese tasted like the powdered cheese from out of a box.
Lastly, I have to comment on my pick up experience. Drive thru was a combination of slow & disorganized. I told her I had ordered online and repeated my name 3 times. The car ahead of me was given the wrong food and she wanted to give me a 16 piece order of chicken?!? After correcting her and telling her again what I ordered, she wanted to charge me for the order which I had already paid for online. Read moreMy husband placed a "to go" order for 1/2 pint of Livers and received Gizzards instead. We live in Brandenburg which is 17 miles (34 round trip) from this store. When he got home with the order, we realized the error. I called and spoke to Tiffany (Supervisor) and was told I just had to bring them back to the store for an exchange or refund. I asked if that's the best she could do since I live so far away and she said it was. I asked to speak to a manager or assistant manager and was told they were not working and she was not allowed to tell me when they would be back at work. So, the bottom line is they messed up my order, I had no dinner and it was my responsibility to return to their store to get my 1/2 pint of livers. All I can say is WOW!!!! If I want my livers, I must make a special trip to Radcliff to fix their employees error......Thanks Tiffany.....Great customer...
