Okay, this is a hard one. I think the short answer is, this place is just getting started and needs a little more time and support by the locals to get it up to speed. They don't even have a sign with their name on it as of my visit today. We mistakenly thought it was a place called Mi Casita, which is closed for good and Mr. Pancho's has replaced. We enjoyed the chips and salsa, especially the tomatillo spicy salsa. Drinks were cold, which is always a good thing. I didn't care for the dish I ordered. Not that it was horrible, but something about it seemed off. If I'm being honest, the fact that it was hot on the outside and cooler in the middle, left the impression it had been premade and heated up. I could be, and hope I am, totally wrong, so please share your thoughts if you try the Diablo Burrito. We also had the molcajete, which actually came with cactus strips as it should! So cheers to that. There was lots more on the menu to try, so next time I might find something just right. Staff seemed short handed, but were making up for it. I guess that is the way of the world today. One really nice gesture was when I asked our waiter about a drink I saw other tables around us ordering, not only did he tell me what it was, which turned out to be horchata, but he also brought us a sampling. Very interesting flavor. Hopefully, they will get everything up to speed soon and with local support become a successful restaurant. It a tough world out there so I'm giving them the benefit of the...
Read moreI was so excited to see another Mexican restaurant in Radcliff with amazing reviews. I told my boyfriend for us to go there tonight to compare it to our favorite spot, El Molino. We walked in and we were seated right away because it wasn’t too busy and they offer a lot of seating and the place is pretty big. They took our drink order right away but we are used to getting chips and salsa the moment we sit at the table and we didn’t have any until he came to take our order. We then waited 45 mins for our food to come to the table (again…they weren’t even busy). They brought out my plate and I specifically said no cilantro and the tacos were covered in it. So she took it back and once she brought it back out the meat was ice cold and the tortillas were soggy already. My boyfriend goes for burritos and he wasn’t impressed with his either. I’m giving low stars because of the wait time and the food quality. The workers are friendly and I’m not complaining about them in the least bit. I just won’t be returning and we will be sticking with El Molino...
Read moreAs soon as I pulled into the restaurant, I was very hesitant because of the parking lot. However, there was plenty of space for people to park and was wheelchair accessible which my daughter had to use since she had recently broken her leg. When we walked into the restaurant, they saw that my daughter had a wheelchair and put us nearby to the restrooms as they could, which was very appreciated. Chips were good, and the service was excellent. Checked up on us and accommodated to what we asked. Food 10 out of 10 great amounts HAD to take some home for lunch tomorrow. OVERALL GREAT EXPERIENCE AMAZING SERVICE WILL BE...
