Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Radcliff

This was my first experience here. The woman who took my order had an attitude. She appeared miserable and sluggish. On top of that I ordered small cold cut sandwich and so far have been waiting 36 minutes. No one was in line before me and 2 people walked in for pick up orders who also had to wait. People ordered after me, and received their order before me. The 3 stars goes to Kristin who was phenomenal in clocking in from break(which is an assumption because she could have been clocking in for her shift period). She then took orders, quickly washed and sanitized her hands, and fixed the orders with perfection. When she did this it took 5 more minutes, and I had my meal. Later when I bit into my snackie snack, it was really delicious. Next time I’ll go buy everything and make 6 snackie sandwiches by myself due to the initial attitude and long wait. This was my go to store until a few nights ago. I ordered a sandwich and some fries. While I waited I noticed that the three employees working were periodically looking at me. Almost as if they were checking to see if I was looking or watching them. So I continued to watch. When my sandwich was wrapped and put Into the bag. As the guy working the fry area put my fries into the bag he leans his head towards the open bag and makes a short blowing/spitting motion into the bag. When I asked wth he thought he was doing he just looks at me dumbfounded and offers no explanation. I was rather passed at this point. All of a sudden a female employee stood I. Front of me as if to to block me from getting to the fry guy. She then told me to step back or she would spit...

Service is terrible. We walked into the store and there were 2 employees both looked at us, neither one acknowledged us. After 8 min the guy took our order. We then moved to the second register and the girl at the grill said she’s not taking anymore orders “she can’t do it”. I myself run a restaurant I understand it gets busy however a “hello” or “I’ll be right with y’all” can go a long way. The guy was working on his own not very friendly but was getting the job done. Once we left, the guy closed the restaurant and put a note on the door saying they will reopen at 6 pm. This location needs some better staff or management that cares. Etown location...
