Bad Daddy's Burger Bar — Restaurant in Raleigh

Year ago, Today's experience,I have been coming to this location for over 6 years and I have never seen as bad of customers service as tonight. I order chips and fries both came out stale and chiwe the chicken with our Caesars salad had the breading falling off and we asked for the salad to be tossed in the dressing and the salad came out with the dressing on the side with non mixed in. Then we lox the dressing in and we taste the dressing and it was more vinegar/sour than anything else. When I asked to talk to the manager Shawn Jordan he never showed and the bar tender only took off the food order like if I was telling them about the food for the money reason. After few minutes the bar tender just hands me my check with the food items taken off the receipt without saying anything or hey we will do this to make up for the bad experience, just put the receipt in the steel cup and walks away. Then after minutes went by I asked the girl bar tender to talk to the manager again for him to try the Caesar dressing and I was bluntly informed that the manager neither going to talk to me nor good Ng to try the Caesar dressing so I asked to pay for my whole order since this was about the experience and not the dollar amount. Then I paid for my order and left. And again, I have been eating here for years. Just terrible customer service!!!!!!!!

Immediately following my review update, the restaurant's manager reached out to me and made things right, first she apologized for all that happened and second she offered a free meal for my wife and I. Few weeks afterwards, we went again, and this time the service, and food was up to what my expectations are when going to bad daddy's. Thank you!

4 years ago, My favorite Burger bar in Raleigh. They made the best Burger I have ever had. Their beer and drinks selection is very big and diverse. The staff is always nice and friendly and helpful. I have been eating Burger's at Bad dadday's for over four years and at this very particular branch for over two years. And the food, service, and prices have been for ever great. Never had a single order at this place that didn't meet or exceeds my expectations. I like my burger cooked medium rare and they never mess up the cooking Temp. And I know the place is a burger bar but they have one of the best wings you can have in Raleigh even better than places that are specialized in wings. Bad Daddy's has been our go-to spot for myself and my team to enjoy lunch for many years. We would eat at Bad Daddy's at least once or twice a week! Great food and such a great selection of menu items (we love the CYO salads). About a year before COVID, this location changed management. It seems that the quality of food and service has declined tremendously since then. In the past year, we have given Bad Daddy's chance after chance to do better. We've dined in many times and have done to-go orders as well. We recently placed to-go orders that were terrible. The orders were not ready in time and I had to go back inside for something that was missing. Several orders were still wrong and the quality of the food (specifically the lettuce on the salads) was not good. I believe the lettuce made me a little sick. We were given free entrees in return for our feedback for our to-go orders, so we thought we'd give Bad Daddy's another chance to make up for the last few times. We were very hopeful that this would be a good experience, especially because this was my birthday lunch. Unfortunately, this time was the most disappointing experience that we've had. This location has a sanitation grade of 92 and I think I understand why now. The floors are not clean. The tables and booths are sticky and not well cleaned/sanitized. There was an unpleasant smell. There were flies everywhere. The last time I came, this was also the case. This time we moved away from the windows. That did not help much, but I get why the flies want to hangout now. There was also A LOT going on in the kitchen with food sitting and people frequently walking back and forth. The service was also extremely slow. There were other customers that arrived after us that were served before us. We finally just asked to get our orders to-go, in which we had to wait even longer and then ask for utensils, cups, condiments etc. that we should've been given. The burger that one of us received was cold. Then when we returned to work, we realized that someone's order still wasn't right. The gentlemen that served us were decent though, although we probably got on their nerves. I promise we weren't trying to just give you a hard time; we just expected so much better. Okay, it's Sunday October 6th 2024 we arrived somewhere around 5 pm. The place was clean and the atmosphere was nice. I was excited to celebrate my stepsons birthday. My wife, stepsons and our daughter (also myself) sat down and was greeted by our waitress Rian P. She took our drink order and appetizer orders. When the drinks and apps FINALLY came out Rian took everyone's order except mine. Then before she left the table she did catch herself and asked if she took my order. I told her "no" and tried to laugh it off. Our food came out and I realized my order wasn't correct I asked to have my burger made correctly as I had the build your own burger. She left and said she would put it back in. After about 30 minutes I figured thw food wasn't coming. Everyone else finished their food and I was still waiting on mine. Rian NEVER came to our table to check on us, ask for refills, nothing. I actually had to track her down and tell her I wanted the check and cancel my order so we could leave. My check was incorrect and I pointed it out and we played the waiting game AGAIN. Finally Rian brings the corrected check and I pull out my card and she's gone. We played the waiting game again, I finally went to the greeter and asked them to pay my bill. My wife is black, my stepsons are black my daughter is mixed and the waitress was black. I would be lying if I didn't say it crossed my mind but...it seems like Rian didn't want a white guy eating with the black people. I'M NOT SAYING THIS IS TRUE but it sure as hell felt that way by "forgetting" to take my order and my ordee being brought to me incorrect. I couldn't rate any of the food as I haven't eaten all because Rian never checked on us, never visited our table to refill drinks etc. And it took forever to get my food to the point I just canceled it.
