Best taco truck in the triangle!
I’ve been eating at El Rey for 5+ years now, and I’ve never once had a bad experience. Their food is so good, that when my wife and I got married earlier this year we decided to use them to cater our reception and they were amazing! Maria was very good at staying in communication with me, she helped me customize the menu in order to make the serving process move quickly, their staff is always friendly and helpful, their prices were very reasonable, and overall it was just a great experience. They have tamales and tortas, usually I don't find these at a food truck, but I could be mistaken I don't go to food trucks often. Green tamales were Deliciosos! (casi perfectos) a hint of heat, mildly spicy, juicy, if you've never had tamales you should try these. Red tamales are apparently very spicy. Read moreMy torta de asada was BOMB! My bf got a chicken torta, he said it was ok. He said the chicken was overcooked which made it dry. He also said the chicken lacked seasoning. My salsa verde could of used a little more seasoning. This is coming from a Mexican and a Pakistani. The service could be better.
