My first time trying this place and I was very disappointed. The food was subpar, I got the okra soup with chicken and fufu. The only thing I could eat was the fufu, it was nice and hot. In my opinion it was not worth what I paid. The okra soup was scorched and they just placed two pieces of white meat chicken (what appeared to have been fried) in the container of soup. I asked for okra stew with chicken but I could of drove across the street and got Popeye's in this case. I am very well diverse as to how okra is cooked in okra stew. The orka being scorched has nothing to do with its size. Nevertheless, I patronized your business and spent my hard earned money, and I have every right to my opinion. As I stated I enjoyed the fufu and that was it! Have a nice day, thank you!

I am new to North Carolina and I wanted to try my fiancés native food so I found this lil spot! It’s a lovely food truck nestled in the Corner of the parking lot.. if you don’t know it’s there you could drive right by! The pictures when I Goggled “Nigerian food near me” was what drew me to this location! I was greeted warmly and I ordered; plantains, Jollof rice , chicken , Egusi soup and fufu! Fast service, they set me up to eat the proper Nigerian way.. I was doing a happy dance with my first bites! It was soooo good! I got to know the owners a bit and enjoyed my beautiful Nigerian lunch .. you took me away with the amazing cuisine, kindness and company ! Good people and good food! Abeg, please try! 🙏

Visiting Raleigh, decided to find some ‘okele’ Nigerian food to eat with some of my friends. Some of the reviews were negative, but the details showed that those were done by customers who did not know what to expect and as such ordered the wrong items. The food was delicious and very ‘authentic’. Very nice level of spice and heat, but not overly hot and spicy. Very tasty soups. The ‘efo riro’ with obe ata (vegetable soup with some red stew) was very tasty and the ‘iyan’ (pounded yam) had a great texture that seemed pounded, not blended in a food processor as is typically the case in many restaurants. I really enjoyed the food and so did my friends. We will certainly be back!

Ok, I’m from Congo but I have been searching for Nigerian food. I’m sorry what they sell here is not even African food. No smoked or dry fish or crayfish in egusi.

I felt in love with Nigerian food in South Africa! They mixed everything hard chicken goat, cow skin and all kind of fish in the egusi. It was the best food for me. The egusi i got here was bland with little to no chili 🌶️. I also got okra with fish, the fish was tasteless.

I’m giving 3 stars because the owner was kind and professional.

Edit: thank you for your arrogant response. So we agree that it’s not African food because of the things that are absent. I think I can be arrogant because I spent my money. When I asked you about chili you said It’s already in the food. Now you come on google and act like you don’t understand what I mean 😂. That’s sad actually. The truth is that what you sell IS NOT AFRICAN FOOD. As the other comment said I’d rather go to Popeyes.

And we do have egusi...

I called to inquire about a particular dish efo riro and the person who answered the call was very rude me personally I love Yoruba people (currently learning the language) and I love Nigeria and Nigerians I’ve visited nigeria twice & efo riro happens to be my favorite vegetables which I can not make myself been reaching out to caterers but no answer and I was very excited to get some but just wanted to inquire about it because I know it can be made several ways depending on the tribe and other factors anyway I say all this to say just be nice to people because you don’t know us at all and I could’ve been a customer for life but don’t want to do business with people with that kind of attitude happy...
