Updated response: I am updating due to the quick response from both the yelp and google review. I wrote reviews on both platforms at the exact same time and was answered quickly. I was not upset about the grub hub but more about the reaction of the person at the restaurant to our situation. Thank you for answering and we will call grub hub and try to sort this out. In regards to me being “dishonest” ”indecent” “defamatory” “deceitful” “and trying to “blackmail” you I don’t quite understand how writing my experience on two different platforms at the same time does that. Everything stated was true and occurred and i don’t write reviews often if at all unless it’s big so yes it was my first time using yelp.
Original: Me and my mom have worked in restaurants and in customer service for quite some time and we understand that it’s hard especially in the later hours (toward closing) to maintain a positive attitude so we’re pretty chill when it comes to our food. Today however was appalling. We ordered a grub hub order with three meals. Two of them were fine. (Although the lamb kabob was missing a stick for some reason). The last one (rice platter) had been ordered with a kabob added and gyro meat (as seen on the receipt). However when it got to us, no kabob. We thought.... No worries, we’ll just call them and get it sorted out. My mom called and explained the situation to a man who after having her repeat the information several times said “I don’t believe that but you can come and pick it up from the store I guess”. Read moreOverpriced and mediocre food. They'll forget half your order and lie and give you an attitude when you ask them about it. I'm sure they'll have a nasty reply to this review eventually as well.
EDIT: Sure enough, they've got a reply. Regarding the lying, the man on the phone this week insisted he had no order under my name or my spouse's name from DoorDash, being the first to cop an attitude in this exchange. How could they not have my order when I have a completed order receipt from DD? It's one thing to make a mistake, and another to be rude in a position of customer service. After a confused back and forth of bickering, I decided to move on to the issue at hand - the food. Of which I only received pita bread and a sad lump of salad. They had forgotten my chicken kabob and hummus. I told him I was coming back for the rest of my order and he offered an additional kabob for my trouble. I got the extra kabob, but it turned out forgot my hummus for the SECOND time! That one was on me for not checking before I left again, but at that point I just thought it was hilariously incompetent and/or malicious, got my compensation from DoorDash, and moved on with my life, just as I will after finishing this review. Read moreI ordered a salad from here and they missed the dressing so I used some from home. Not a huge deal but was a little disappointed. Then the second time I tried them I really hoped to get the dressing but was COMPLETELY disgusted when my salad didn't even have toppings. It was literally just lettuce in a Styrofoam container. And again, no salad dressing. Not only that, but there was a short black hair in the lettuce as well. I paid 14 dollars for this salad. Will NOT be be trying a third time.. Gross.
EDIT: In response to their LOVELY reply (which doesn't even mention the complementary hair add in), I have attached some photos that I sent to doordash with my complaint for the refund. My salad I ordered was a full Greek salad and was supposed to have chicken as well. So it was missing dressing, tomatoes, chicken, feta, pepperochini, and olives. My bad for not being more specific.
