Absolutely no way these reviews are real. I don’t believe it. This food is.. not good. I am not goin to beat around the bush.
Let’s take the example of the Thai curry, which is what I had. I know it’s just a generalized name, but no matter how you look at it, the flavors aren’t there. Thai curry is a very complex mix of flavors, each flavor in the particular kind of curry adds a particular element to it, and often vegetables are added for texture. Yeah, this curry was none of that. It was like some weird mix between a red and masaman but didn’t really taste like anything I’ve ever had. It actually tasted mostly like chicken broth with some coconut milk. The vegetable was basically just shallots, so the curry was underwhelming on the flavor front. Additionally, the chicken are chicken thighs - which honestly wouldn’t be a problem but the issue with what they did was it wasn’t skinless, so when it gets in the sauce the skin (if it ever was crispy,I think they boiled it) gets soggy and gross, so the texture felt super weird.
The plus side, the samosa which I shared with my table tasted ok, but honestly was probably frozen and not made in house. The sauce served with it was excellent.
Couldn’t recommend a restaurant less. If you want Thai curry go next door… if you want Indian or indochinese go to literally anywhere in Cary and you’ll get a...
Read moreEdit: Ate here again recently and the fries were still as good as the first time! Ordered the chili Gobi (cauliflower) which was also delicious! I really came here to say PLEASE BRING BACK THE CHINESE BHEL IM BEGGING PLS :)
My mom and cousin had eaten here on a whim because they had heard from other people that the food was really good. I don't live in the area, but when I came home for the holidays, my mom would not stop talking about how good the hot and sour soup and the Chinese bhel was! She kept telling me that she would take me here so I could try to dishes she loved so much, and I can say that the food did not disappoint! The hot and sour soup had the classic ginger and spice taste, and the Chinese bhel was amazing and would be a favorite of anyone who likes classic Indian street food with a mix of the taste of Chinese cuisine. We also ordered the Szechuan fries and they were really good too! We didn't try any of the meat dishes since we are vegetarian and the appetizer-style dishes were enough for the two of us so we didn't have any of the entrees but the food we did order was absolutely fantastic! Each dish also came with a large quantity of food and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place, especially for people who are vegetarian and looking for unique veggie...
Read moreIt wasn't a planned visit to this place. Looking for some chinese place for dinner and found this place in Raleigh. This is the first time I found a Chinese restaurant which gave me a taste of Indian Chinese food 😅. It is located nearby Raleigh airport and in a busy surrounding. Hard to find parking near the restaurant if you are going during peak hours. But there are plenty of parking slots available down the two blocks.
We were about 28 people all together including adults and kids. Couldn't find a place to sit down all together but they made arrangements to accommodate everyone in 2 groups. Staff is really polite and cooperative. They have outdoor seating available too.
Ordered bunch of food of everyone's choice. We ordered Chicken Manchow Soup, Chicken Manchurian and Veg Manchurian as appetizers. In the main course, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Hakka Noodles and a couple veg dishes. They did not take too long to bring our orders. Everything was upto the mark. Spice level was like we wanted. Even the other group of kids and ladies was also satisfied with the taste. I would have given more than 5 stars if that was allowed.
I am looking forward to coming back again.
